I don’t understand how the 6 piece set is 25 at Costco but the 5 piece set on yes style is upwards of 120 so ur paying 5 x the price and getting 1 less? Make it make sense what are these people doing? I also saw the 6 pack at Wal-Mart.com and I think it said somewhere between 60-80 I can’t remember but they offer the price match if u find it cheaper they’ll give u that price

Anybody think the palette will be an add in ? I want

Kristina

I would be happy with everything except the palette. I guess I am lucky as got my July box early in the month, and never had missing items. I get plus and ultimate and never had a repeat item.

Angela

I want the Kaja Eyeshadow stack But can buy on Mercari for about $10-$15. I do not want to spend $50 on this since I get Boxyluxe in September. I’ll just do add ons as I always do.

Seeing a Julep product on here make me miss my Julep sub box lol….I really liked their cosmetics line and the nail polishes really had staying power for me, especially the glitter or holographic ones.

Marion

Julep’s microglitter formula was seriously THE best!

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda

I have occasionally found julep items at tjmaxx and Marshall’s. But it’s sporadic. It’s worth a look if you’re there.

Karolina

I loved their liquid matte lipsticks, the red was that rare true red. I know ULTA has them but Julep had good sales.

Kathy S Piccini

Easy pass.

I still haven’t received my GBP OR GBU for July!!! Ive been contacting Ipsy about this and no resolve!!! VERY disappointed!!! Ive been with them since day one….

Flora

I finally got Ultimate box today! It was shipped on 7/10, so I expected it would never show up, but it finally made it. Hold on to hope, ladies!

Reply ButtonReply

Marcie

Mine Ipsy Glam Plus from July hasn’t been delivered yet. Customer service said to wait 15 business days and then contact them if I haven’t received it. 😡

Charlotte

Honestly, these look way nicer than the GBP spoilers. I was going to stick with the regular bag and do add-ons, but a lot of stuff in Ultimate never shows up as add-ons. Trying to convince myself I don’t need this, because every time I spend $$$ on a higher tier box from Ipsy, I’m left disappointed.

Omgosh, me too! Especially when I compare it to other $50-ish boxes like FFF or Margot Elena. I treated myself to it a couple times (like this month, when the SR alone was worth it and not an add on), but overall I just don’t really need ALL of the stuff that you get with all 3 tiers. It’s so fun with choice and reveals, though, that it’s hard to let go. I justify it by skipping at least one tier each month (usually Ultimate), but sometimes the spoilers are different enough that it’s difficult!

What’s interesting is that in the “group photo” posted at the top of the spoilers page, I’m pretty sure the Zoeva palette pictured is the Cocoa Blend one, not Caramel Melange. 👀👀 Wonder if there’ll be variants?

I like that they’re sending the Naturelab Tokyo products as a set.

This feels almost like weird BoxyCharm leftovers to me since I bought a Kaja stack + Zoeva palette from them in recent sales!

I’m intrigued with the Zoeva palette. I’ve never tried that brand but I usually see good reviews on their shadow palettes. I like the Ultimate bag so much more than the Regular bag. I like the two-color pattern and it’s a really nice size for purse or tote bag. This might be the first time I’m actually lured into adding on the Ultimate bag since I only get Regular glam bag. I think that bag will actually be kind of small for a useful makeup bag.

Alice

Patsy, I have several of them and they are really nice. The color you see in the pan is what goes onto the eye. I find them smooth and last all day. I tend to use just one color at a time, but they do blend well.

Reply ButtonReply

Kirsten

Nope. Not after what happened to my plus bag in July. Besides, I’d just get that orange palette since they have sent me every piece of ugly orangey makeup in their collection. Nevermind my profile.
I’ll spend my $50 on stuff I know I’ll like and use now.
Kind of a shame, since the spoilers don’t look too bad, except for that peach/orange palette I’d be sure to get.
Not that it matters, but that glam bag design is not attractive to me in the least, either.
A couple of months off may be just what I need.
Perhaps October will have more to offer me.

I like Kaja, but can’t rock shimmers. I do love NatureLab. Didn’t know Julep was still in business and did concealer (which might explain why that item is on sale for $8 on their website). Last month’s ultimate had unique items in that very few were available to non-ultimate subscribes. Still not worth $50 for me, but these don’t look all that bad overall.

Reply ButtonReply

Erin

Julep recently did an additional 60% off their clearance so I got the concealer for like $2. It was ok for $2, but I wouldn’t spend much more than that tbh.

Reply ButtonReply

Shari

I can’t respond Alice once again posts are not showing up.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I got the Caramel palette through Boxy. I like it very much. Sure don’t need a second, though. I’m not certain if I’m going to reactivate U. After the issues in July with shipping and missing items, I’ll be lucky to get what I’m owed in the other tiers.

Reply ButtonReply

Shari

Still not July box, and only bogus tracking. They gave points for your inconvenience, but if you don’t sign back up then their worthless. My mother taught me the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So No!

Reply ButtonReply

Jlfuentes

I still haven’t gotten my July box either and it’s been over 4 weeks since it “shipped.” I contacted Ipsy and they did absolutely nothing, only offered to “personally track it” which obviously doesn’t mean anything 🙄 August’s box was “shipped” with the same carrier so I’m not expecting to get it either

Reply ButtonReply

Dolce

I never got my July Glam bag. I had some add ons that I was really looking forward to trying. They refunded me and gave me some points but I kept telling them I want my Glam bag. Of course they are sold out of the add on products I ordered but said they would resend the bag itself. Still haven’t gotten that either. I’ve had no problem getting my ultimate or plus for July and August. I’ve gotten my Boxycharm as well. I have no idea what went wrong with that one bag but it was the one I was looking forward too the most. Ugh.

Alice

Shari, I got my Ultimate yesterday, so there is hope. I still haven’t received my Plus. I’m not reactivating Ultimate at any time soon.

Reply ButtonReply

Tess

I don’t think it is Ipsy’s fault at all. Its the postal service. Lots of stuff going on right now. I got mine about 3 days after it shipped, because where I’m located hasn’t had any reductions in routes for mail.

Shari

Really frustrated about whole experience.

Shari

I am just really frustrated with the whole experience Alice. I will never do Ipsy again.

Julia

I guess Huda is the new Manna Kadar: must be included in every beauty box every month until everyone pukes.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

I’m not mad because I like Huda’s products, but I can see how if they don’t work for you it must be a pain.

Reply ButtonReply

RubyWooWhoo

Huda’s heavy makeup, Instagram aesthetic is losing popularity and more natural looks are coming back into favor, so I expect we’ll be seeing more Huda in our boxes for a while.

Reply ButtonReply

Patsy

Julia, you made me laugh!

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Nice to finally see a fellow person not raving about Huda. I hope it’s not in the Plus again.

Reply ButtonReply

Alley

That lip balm 😍😍😍

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

They sell the whole set of 6 balms at Cost co for $25.

Reply ButtonReply

Marcie

Wow!

Marion

Great tip, thanks, Flora!
