  1. Previous comments not posted – why?? Too critical too honest? Summer time & never anything with sunscreen??

  2. Another thing to keep in mind: a face oil is labeled as such mostly because it doesn’t include ingredients that may be too harsh for the face. With that in mind, face oils can also be used as hair oils, shaving oil, a body oil (think post-shower!), and cuticle oil. They aren’t limited by their moniker. They can be combined with harder body butters for a softer/easier application. They can be used as a carrier oil in any item a carrier oil would be used for. Face oils are the most versatile skincare product available. 😉

  3. That mask was in July 2019 Laurel & Reed box. I did get it, but haven’t used it yet. Search July 2019 Laurel & Reed review to see Marne’s thoughts on it.

  4. I don’t really need any more face oils but I do want to try the mask.

  5. I would subscribe to this regularly if they offered more variety, but they literally send a face oil almost every single month. There are so many other great skincare and body products out there besides face oil. The lack of variety really bores me and turns me off from this subscription.

    • Ashley, you beat me to the comment I was coming here to write. It seems like 10 of the 12 annual Pearlesque boxes contain a face oil. I guess because it’s cheap to manufacture so the brands don’t mind giving it to Pearlesque (they lose less than they’d lose in giving a night cream or eye cream). My face needs LESS oil, not more.

      • Exactly, let’s get some eye creams, body creams, face creams, cleansers, scrubs, toners, body washes, luxe lip balms, etc. They can do SO much with this sub, but it falls flat every.single.month. Yawn.

      • I agree! Way too many face oils in boxes in general for me. I’m so happy that I got the idea from someone on here to use oils on your neck/chest if you are on overload. Cleansers, however, seem to be the one product I don’t get enough of in sub boxes though!

    • I agree, it’s time for a little more variety. I seem to have enough face oils from subscription boxes to last me the rest of this century, but I still have to purchase eye creams and moisturizers.
