I didn’t have all those choices. Maybe some were gone already. I would have chose 111Skin or Sunday Riley Vitamin C. I got the palette which was the best option left for me. This will be my first Ultimate bag. I didn’t realize I could choose until half the day was over. I guess I’m still on the wait list for the Plus bag and won’t know if I’m in til the 1st. Wish me luck!
Are the add-ons items that could end up in my Ultimate bag? I usually go crazy with add-ons but would like to avoid doubles if I can.

Sunday Riley was gone for me but 111 Skin is there now if you want to switch.

Lori

Wow, Plus has a waitlist now?

Hmm, 2 of these choices I’ve already received in plus. I’d like it if Ipsy didn’t put repeats in choice, it limits the options for some of us. I’m so beyond ready for the Sunday Riley saga to end, and there are two other skincare brands here whose formulations give me pause as well, esp for those prices. The balm looks nice except for the inclusion of peppermint so it’s looking like a skip month for me. Last month was amazing though!

I LOVE the Sunday Riley Skincare. I have to buy it outright, so it’s nice to give me a break to get it through sub boxes. It’s the only thing I have found that works for my skin besides the farmacy moon glow…the good skincare brands that work for my skin are the most expensive, so I’m super excited when they show up here as options.

Same here! I love being able to get Sunday Riley in sub boxes. CEO serum is a little rich for my skin, I’ve found, but I was over the moon to get Good Genes and Luna in recent months. Well done, ipsy!

Has anyone else not gotten their July bag delivered yet?? Feels a bit messed up to pick an item for August when I haven’t received this months yet

I’ve not received my plus yet (they used some pitney bowes to USPS instead of dhl to usps and it’s a NIGHTMARE) , my glam bag regular just had a shipping label created and my plus with over 100 add ons are floating around and ipsy dont care until the 28th. Tracking through pitney bowes shows my plus was in my town over a week ago and instead of being handed over to USPS it supposedly left and got shipped somewhere else. It said it left that facility days ago, but not saying where its headed or what’s going on. I’m so frustrated. I dont mind a delay, but when tracking is showing it’s everywhere but my house, and was in my town and left and they keep telling me “we know you are excited for your items”….

It’s pretty absurd. I’m dealing with the same nonsense from that bogus carrier—mine has only had a label created and it’s been 12 days since that happened 🙄

Lana

So for Plus you get to pick 3 items, but for Ultimate you only pick 1? That seems weird to me and the price seems inflated compared to Plus: 5 for $25 vs 8 for $50..? I know they got rid of the makeup bags in Plus, but I don’t care about them

Jill

Ultimate also has 4 deluxe samples in addition to the 8 full-size items, but I agree that both the price and new pick options don’t seem fair for Ultimate.

Robin

I’ve tended to get more expensive items in my ultimate as well. I personally perfer it. Haven’t been disappointed yet!

Redwoods301

I picked the brush, I have a couple from the brand & love them all, and I need something for bronzing.

Beth

Same! Between gbu, gbp, & reward points, I almost have a full set of them.

Marion

The Nomad palette is really nice, but wasn’t it already sent out in Plus at least 2 different times?

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

Yes, I remember being bummed I missed it then, so I’m glad to see it again. I’ve heard only good things about it!

Reply ButtonReply

Patsy

I received it in Plus last fall, I believe. It is a very nice palette!!

Reply ButtonReply

Rose

I have total FOMO, and I love the bag. I just can’t afford this. I hope everyone gets a fantastic haul!

Reply ButtonReply

Lucy

Does anyone knows if I still get to choose if I signed up today? Thanks!!

Reply ButtonReply

Angie D

I just signed up for plus and I didnt get a choice. I do have ultimate and got that choice. Hope I get a choice though

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

For Ultimate you’ll get to choose today. Plus is on August 1.

Randie

With the new Plus format, you won’t get to choose until the beginning of the month.

Alice

You should!

Paige

I don’t get Ultimate but these look like great choices. The palette is really pretty!

Laura

I reactivated my account for Ultimate (already get the regular bag) wanted the Sunday Riley and love the August bag. Hope I don’t get the Berlin palette- I got it in my plus a while back- it’s very nice but I don’t want another one.

Carol

Love Nomad and that’s a great palette. I wish they would offer the Marrakesh one!

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

There are some great new GBP plus choice spoilers- like Ciate watermelon powder.

Reply ButtonReply

Kimberly

OH my! Where did you see the new spoilers?? What else was there?

Reply ButtonReply

Lynda

There is a post about them. (MSA)

Lisa

Can I ask where you saw the Ciate watermelon powder?

Went with the Sunday Riley Vitamin C serum 😊🙌

Reply ButtonReply

Shannon

Grabbed a Sunday Riley woohoo! Just cracked open my last bottle yesterday so I’m super happy to have a backup on the way.

Reply ButtonReply

Nikki

It wouldn’t surprise me if they eventually got rid of ultimate and just kept plus.

Reply ButtonReply

🙌😊🙌😊🙌

I was wondering the same, especially with rolling out the changes for Plus. It seems odd you’d get to choose 3 items in a 5-item, $25 bag, but only 1 in a $50 bag…

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

Agreed. I’m noticing repeats (I got that palette last year in Plus) and like products (half of GBU products were in plus last month). I’m not stoked about this month, and am skipping, but you’d better believe I’m getting plus this month!

Angela

I really hope that Complex Culture powder brush is in add-ons those brushes are so nice! That Sunday Riley vitamin C serum is amazing I have a couple sample sizes I wonder if that will be an $18 add-on option. I don’t sub to Iltimate just Plus and regular glam bag so I rely on add-ons to get the Ultimate products. It’s cheaper than the $50 that way.

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

Same here, I love them! When they seemed to go away, I was worried I missed my chance at getting a set, so I’m very glad to see their return.

Reply ButtonReply

Patsy

I only get regular glam bag but if that beautiful powder brush is in add-ons, I’m gonna jump on it. Complex Culture brushes are very nice!

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

I was planning on skipping Ultimate (not a great track record for me), but the Sunday Riley is worth the $50. Unless it’s in add ons, but I doubt we’ll find that out before billing.

Reply ButtonReply

Katy

Choices are decent. I already skipped but I’m not feeling too sad I guess. I probably would have picked the 111skin serum.

Reply ButtonReply

Imanni

i went with the sunday riley because i don’t want to get that 111skin thing lol, apparently they change their ingredients for sub boxes.

I do hope i get that Nomad Palette and the Payot Glacee in my bag. Fingers crossed lol

Reply ButtonReply

Lily

I chose the Payot cream for one GBU, and the Nomad eyeshadow palette for the other.

I thought they had some super choices this month. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Jill

Not really into anything here, so I skipped and did regular Glam Bag instead (still debating on whether to keep Plus, with the changes). I know there are a couple really good deals in term of value, like the 111Skin, but I’m sensitive to eucalyptus oil, and that’s one of the ingredients (I assume the main cooling part).

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Payot

Valeree

Same! Looks the most promising. Oftentimes “lesser cost” creams are just as good, if not better than the higher end skincare. In fact, I often purchase the active ingredients from make up wholesales companies and add them to my skincare making them BETTER than anything you can buy, regardless of cost.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Agree! It’s all about effective ingredients!

Prettypony

I wish we could have a choice of not to choose an item too. I have gotten that palette in another IPSY bag and would hate to get it again. If it does happen it makes a great gift tho <3
