I haven’t received shipping yet for the June beauty box. I was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me. I know they typically send boxes pretty late in the month, but I wasn’t sure if it was the norm for them to also sometimes send them out early into the following month. Normally, I’d contact the company on the 1st of the following month, but I thought I read they can be a little late with their shipments. Maybe I’ll wait another 5 days, and if I don’t receive a shipping email I’ll contact them. (cross posting in the May review post)

Your note prompted me to check my account as well, and it look like at least a shipping label was created for mine today. They do have a whole page on their website dedicated to their various shipping delays/status, and for the June beauty box, they have stated: “We expect all June Beauty boxes to be shipped by July 3rd.” From the info posted, it seems like they should be back on track after early July.

Oops! Nevermind… I just looked at my account, and I see it was fulfilled today with a tracking number listed. I guess they just haven’t sent the email out yet letting me know my box has shipped. 🙂

Update on my May box (in the random off chance anyone is interested, lol) – I emailed CS about my missing card. They responded quickly with a jpeg of the card and did tell me that they “had several card variations this month.” So I did the math on my box based on the values they gave and I got $98, which is less than the stated “over $100” value (although admittedly not by much). I inquired about that and evidently on my card they messed up and had swapped the value of the eyebrow trimmer vs. the massager – I got the trimmer and the card said $25 RV but it was actually $30 RV (and the massager was vice versa). So my box value actually was $103. They put 200 BC Points into my account for the card mix-up. All in all I was pretty impressed with how quickly CS got back to me.

Last month (or was it in April?) we were asked, as subscribers, what shade of eyeshadow we wanted, and what tool (trimmer or massager) we wanted. I promptly replied to both emails and made my picks.

Today I received my sub and got neither of my choices. Why bother replying if they’re not considered? I sent them an email, we’ll see how it goes.

I also can’t find where to cancel my sub. Not happy when companies make it difficult to cancel.

Beth, at the very top of the B&C website are 4 text links. One of them says “Manage Subscription.” Click on that, then there should be a little invoice type screen that says something like “Order #1.” There’s a blue “Manage” link with a dropdown menu. Go to the bottom & click “Cancel Order.”

Thanks, Marion. I’ll give that a try!

Luna

I really want to say I did, but I’m not 100% sure. I think I still have the recycle in my house, so I’ll check it later (I’m out right now) and let you know. 🙂

Marion

Luna, you are letting us all down! 😉

I apparently got one of the “normal” variants, so I’m dead curious what unlisted products are also being sent!

Luna

Oh, that’s right! I also received the R+Co brow gel! I’m surprised I forgot since I was really excited to have received it since I didn’t know they made one 🙂

Sherri

Luna – we are close with our boxes, but I did get 6 items:

Eyebrow shaver (my pick)
RMS shadow in Twilight Madness (my pick)
Hype nail polish in Play (a deep fuchsia color)
Evio lip gloss in Susan
Lhamour Hair Rinse Tea
R+Co brow gel

I did email CS about the lack of a card, we will see what they have to say.

Luna

LOL! Well this post is for Marion’s eyes only if you don’t want to know what one of the variations are 😀

After much thought, I believe I got 5 products, and they were:
Facial product massager (my pick)
RMS shadow in Tabacco (something) (my pick)
Hype nail polish in Sky Blue (I’m wearing it now, and it’s so pretty)
Evio lip gloss in Susan (a pinky-mauve)
Lhamour Hair Rinse Tea

I think that’s all I received! I can’t recall if their was a 6th item.

Sherri

Thanks Luna! 🙂

Luna, thank you so very much for checking. Much appreciated!!

Luna

Hi Sherri, it looks like I already got rid of that recycle for good (well… it’s in my recycle bin now, and I don’t feel like going head first, bottoms up into it, lol). Sorry!

Luna

Oops! This was a reply to Sherri 🙂

There’s a couple YouTube unboxing videos with full spoilers for May. (My box is supposed to arrive today.)

Sherri

I got my May box on Friday. Two of the items aren’t what is revealed in the two YouTube videos I’ve seen (and I would have preferred what the YouTubers got). I also didn’t get a card in my box. So I’m starting to think I got a “we ran out of stuff so we threw this together” box, although maybe it is just a variant. I’m going to wait to see what others got before I contact CS.

Sherri

Marion, you got me wondering about total box RV, so I tried to calculate mine as best as I could without the benefit of a card, instead relying on the 2 videos I saw plus google. It appears my box value is $101.98, which technically is above the stated value of $100. But having listened more carefully to the videos again, it appears that the lip gloss I got (Evio Beauty at RV $14.99) was in fact one of the stated variants (one video didn’t mention it when reading the options, but the other video did). So it seems I only had one “off the card” item in getting the nail polish instead of an item in the grouping with the skincare items. RV on the nail polish is $7.99. The items the women in the videos got were in the ~$30 range. So while technically I got the promised value, I’m a little miffed that a $7.99 item was substituted for something at least 4x that value, plus no card was included. It probably doesn’t help that I’m not a nail polish person, but would have enjoyed any of the skin care options, but alas that’s the nature of sub boxes. And plus, in the big picture, it’s just makeup/skincare, hardly the end of the world.

Marion

Dang, I would not have minded a nail polish, lol.

I don’t usually care about retail values in subs like this (since a lot of them are inflated anyway), but if they’re going to give me a card with all the prices of all the variants listed, I’m gonna notice that I got the cheapest thing in every single variant category. 👀

I wonder how hard they were hit with Covid supply-related issues, because in addition to your extreme-variant box, I noticed that we haven’t been given any choices like we have for the first 3 months of the sub.

Joan

I just received my box and it included a card and one of 3 possible items in 2 categories, that were all listed on the card.

Sherri

Luna, do you happen to recall if you got a card with your items?

Luna

Even though I already can’t recall all that came in my box that I received on Friday (lol), I think I got the same variants as Sherri. I’m actually wearing the nail polish right now, and love it!

Sherri

Hi tpop. Yep, those variants were mentioned in the videos I saw. I got none of the items in either of those variant groupings. Instead I got a nail polish and a lip gloss that was a different brand than the ones specified.

tpop

The card has 2 varient products. One is face wash/face polish/masks, and the other is a variety of lip products.

Morgan

Mine as well! I have been trying to resist watching spoiler videos. I hope it’s worth the long wait!
