FYI – i just subscribed and the paint by number option was sold out. Which sucks, because that’s the one I wanted. Oh well, I will still enjoy the coloring/origami kit!

Awwwww:( I would have wanted the paint by numbers option too.

This is our favorite box subscription. My older teen daughter and I take turns choosing the options each month. She chose the paint by numbers book and is excited to receive it. She loves the snacks that come inside and I love the fun things each month, often completely unexpected.

This is really tempting me to subscribe. I love how B&C has items no other sub does. I just wish it was quarterly instead of monthly, because I really can’t justify $50 a month….

The Flow Book for me. If you get a chance, check out FLOW MAGAZINE. I highly recommend it.

Ooh, love the paint by numbers!

The paint by numbers I’d sold out. 🙁 I was going to subscribe, but now I am not so tempted.

IS sold out. Stupid auto correct!

Me too, Carol! 🙂

These are terrific. I love the color origami.

I’m not a creative…so these aren’t for me, but I really appreciate how this sub box finds unique items to send month after month. If I subbed, I’d try the paint by numbers, because the drawing book would overwhelm me, the image on the puzzle looks weird to me, and the origami shape designs make me dizzy.

Tami

I agree!

I like all the options…gives me something to do while at home. This is one of my fave subs. I use everything I’m sent. Kind of surprised by some of comments, but you can’t please everybody. That’s the nature of these boxes I guess.

I might sub to this box. I really like most of these items. I’m a naturally crafty person with hardly anytime to myself. I think I’m more in love with the idea of some quiet time with a puzzle. I can imagine myself screaming “I’m working on my puzzle!”. LoL

LOL. Yeah, I want all of these. I’m surprised by some of the horrified reactions here. I mean, these items feel perfect for the times considering rising infection rates and social distancing measures. Weren’t puzzles almost impossible to get recently? Color me impressed (excuse the bad pun). Even without the pandemic I appreciate that these are unique sub box items! I get tired of seeing the same old stuff all the time. I will use it to stay off my phone and practice a little much needed mindfulness 😊

I want them all too, and am strongly considering subbing! I don’t know what to choose but am leaning toward the coloring/origami book. I’m really surprised by the negative reactions as well.

sara

At first, I wasn’t sure how to feel about these choices, but I think the paint by number item is kind of cool!

I love Bombay and Cedar but this color origami book is dreadful! I will never use this! NOT EVER! What on earth possessed them to buy this book! This item is destined for the thrift shop. So help me, if I get an embroidery kit or something similar in a future box, I am DONE!

Alexandra

… don’t chose it then?

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

IKR? I love when people on here throw fits about items that they can just…not…choose….

Rose

I am pretty sure that I’m the only person who hates all of these options. I chose the jigsaw even though it’s incredibly horrible (to me – it’s just my opinion). I am beginning to regret subscribing to this box, and I haven’t received my first one yet. Oh well. Fool me once…

Christy

You can also choose to skip a month.

Except that they charge before they release spoilers…

sara

My first reaction wasn’t enthusiastic, either! You’re not alone : ) But upon further reflection, this does deliver something interesting and I do like the thought behind it. Maybe give it a try? You might like one of them once you get it and give it a shot. …And if not, it’s just one item of many to come!

Jill

They generally send a good mix of item types, so it won’t all be art/creativity stuff. You’ll definitely get two essential oils, if nothing else, as that’s one of their things. If you do swapping on here, I tend to have good luck swapping the items I don’t want (like the coverup from the May box) because it’s a less common box with unique items. (Unlike, say, FabFitFun where there’s going to be 50 of each item up for swap.) And they usually release a second spoiler at some point, so hope you’ll like that better!
