I absolutely loved my first box and was so excited to get the second one BUT….. I look on my account to see if my box shipped and it says “discontinued”. What? I call allure and this really bad customer service lady says “your card was declined” I said “that’s funny because you all removed the money from my account already” she then has the gull to say “can you prove it?” Ohhhhhh yes I can. Soooooo disappointed in Allure

We received out box today from signing up for this deal, I gifted my daughter. Her box also included the new subscriber gift of a full size Tarte lipstick. I also received a box addressed to me today that had the 3 gift items. It appears mine shipped at the same time as her box.

No…i haven’t even received my first box yet. I had to email them to ask when it would be shipped, as it had already been 2 weeks.

They responded with this:

“Please note, your first Allure Beauty Box may take up to 20 business days to ship.”

Ugggh!

But then they sent a tracking number. Is that the gift? Or is that the June box? Who knows! If they pull a bait and switch I’ll be demanding a refund!

well, i gifted 3 months to myself and it looks like it worked. I really hope this isn’t a bait and switch and they “run out of inventory”!

FWIW, I’ve always received the free gifts they offer at the time I re-sub for both gift subs & new subscribers. In fact I recently re-subbed in May and not only did I receive the 3-month gift sub bundle (which was a different set of products at the time), but I also received the free “new” subscriber gift in my box too! (the gift bundle shipped separately, but I received the two boxes at the same time) I really hope you get this gift… it looks like a great one 🙂

Do these gift subscriptions have automatic renewal?

Luna

They don’t! 🙂 I always do a 3-month gift sub when I re-sub mostly to avoid having to do anything when the term is up. 😉

That’s great to know! Thanks for sharing!

Yay! It’s been working great for me 😀 One of the very few things I loathe when it comes to subbing are boxes where I have to email or call to cancel. For the few boxes that still require that I always try to get a gift sub, and fortunately those tend to not renew. 🙂 Sure, it may cost more than just getting one box, but I only sub to boxes I love so I know chances are slim I’ll be disappointed in future boxes, plus it’s worth it to me not having to stress hoping they got my email and that they’ll cancel my sub in time before the next charge, lol.

Great tip, Luna!

Kay

Thank you! That’s 10x easier!

Tami

That’s a great idea!! I’m gonna start doing that!
