Birchbox May 2020 Box Reveals Are Up!

Birchbox is absolutely nailing it for me — I was a Beautyfix subscriber for a long time and started skipping based on some lackluster products. But still wanted that “surprise gift” experience each month and Birchbox has just been stellar. I prefer skin products and it’s been a lot more hair goods than I’d ask for, but I’m using most of it and this month was amazing with the exception of that RIDICULOUS lawless lip product — I can’t even give it away to friends the color is SOOO bad. HA, still writing it as a win, Birchbox! 🙂

Will they go by your profile or just send certain shades? I saw the Golden Glow was up there but I have ghostly pale skin so I really wanna try birchbox but Im worried Im gonna get colors I cant use =X

My year-long sub from a gift card, & apparently Birchbox rolled it right into a monthly sub. 👀 Since I’m an Ace currently, it was only $10, but that’s kinda shady of them. I’ve canceled, but at $10 a month, I’ll be keeping an eye out for good spoilers.

My May box:

– Oribe Split End Sealer (my choice)
– Dr Lipp balm
– LOC One & Done shadow stick
– Purlisse Perfect Glow BB cream
– Lawless matte liquid lip

I already have 2 or 3 Dr Lipp balms from various Birchbox kits & bonus packs up for swap. I sometimes react to lanolin, so I can’t use it. The Purlisse BB cream like 1000% doesn’t fit my profile, so that’s also a bummer. I’m pretty excited about getting the Lawless lipstick, though! I considered picking the curated box it was in.

Box reveals are up? I already got my boxes on Tuesday! I was amazed that they were here so quickly. They were both curated boxes, so maybe that helped.

I am receiving curated box #2 (the female founders box) and my tracking says it should be delivered Monday. Looks like a great sample box! I am most excited to try the wander beauty mascara; it seems to be full size, but I can’t tell for sure.

I love the Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow! I have used it since I received a sample in my Birchbox quite a while ago. It gives a hit of color on its own without foundation. I use it mixed with or added lightly to areas after applying my foundation. It is something I have reordered the full size of.
