We have spoilers for the June 2020 Birchbox!

FYI - Birchbox recently announced an update for customization:

Starting in June, each month we will have two Featured Boxes you can choose from, with more quantities available than we’ve had in previous months:

  • Option 1: We will always have a Clean Beauty Box. All the samples in your box will be free of 13+ ingredients, so you can feel good about what you’re putting on your skin. It’s clear our subscribers want this and we’re making it possible to get a clean box every time if you choose this option.

  • Option 2: A box curated by our Co-founder and CEO Katia. In her curated box, you’ll be able to try products and brands she loves, so you can learn more about and follow her beauty routine.

I’m definitely going to get the Lipstick I think – I have about 2 Oribe sample sizes and 1 full size that I still need to get through and everything else is just meh to me.

They sell that same lipstick at Costco for $10 just in case anyone is wanting it.

Choice is live for ACES

It might be the first time it’s in Birchbox, but hasn’t everyone ELSE sampled Flowerbomb at this point?

Most likely…. I received a Flower bomb sample a year ago from Sephora.com as add on sample. However, Birchbox is officially following Sephora Plays lead. From here on out perfume is considered a 6th bonus sample. Birchbox went live on Instagram Monday and announced it.

I’m ecstatic about the perfume becoming a routine choice at Birchbox. I’m very picky regarding my scents. I love my Scentbird subscription. I love it when I hit on a new favorite. That’s how I found ‘Juliette Has a Gun’ and Confessions of a Rebel’s ‘Get a Room’. 2 perfect scents 4 me, but Marc Jacobs original ‘Daisy’ is#1 in my book.

What is the shade of the LOC stick?

Cant wait for this sub to be over. First time subbing to it and it’s so disappointing, almost every month. Will never consider this sub again. I dont care what they “give away” for subbing.

I recently resubscribed after a year away, and so far I’m loving katias curated box. The only repeat product for me would be the oribe, and I adore all things oribe, so I’m hoping to choose that.

I, too chose that box. Oribe is amazing and I was Introduced to the texturing spray by Birchbox! The smell is heavenly. I’m also excited about the LOC One & Done shadow stick. Birchbox sent me the ‘Champaigne Problems’ and I use it in the inner corner and bottom inner lid to highlight my eyes. It brightens my the look of my entire face. I’m on my 2nd stick. I’m so excited about checking out this newest shade! Good luck ladies! Enjoy your Birchbox! 🙆😁🎉

I just bought that Amika Flash—it’s wonderful! I’ll probably choose that highlighter sample and let the rest up to them.

birchbox is so far behind…in every way…I don’t think they will ever be anything like the others..

Who knew that someone still made mood lipstick??? And only $25!

….smh

Kate

It’s actually a great product and that’s a fairly standard price for lip products. I LOVE this brand and so so many others!!!!!!

It’s a gimmick to get people to buy what would otherwise not stand out in a saturated lipstick market. They needed some selling point. I would never pay $25 for a lipstick, but I really like the LQ tube I got in one of my beauty boxes, so I’ll happily use it up.

Kat

I got one of the Lipstick Queen color-changing lipsticks in a brevious sub box (I don’t recall which one, but it was probably Birchbox), and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the feel of the forumla. I usually wear gloss rather than lipstick unless I’m going to a wedding or other fancy event, and the formula of these color-changing lipsticks is really light and moisturizing while providing a lit bit of color and without being sticky, which I appreciate.

They needed some sort of gimmick to stand out in a saturated makeup market.

The “real” color looks pretty. I have one of their lipsticks (you can bet I didn’t pay their price for it – thank you, beauty boxes), and the texture feels more like a balm to me. I’m a balm kind of girl, so I’m pleased. Your lips look and feel good while you’re yawning at the sample and box selection here, LOL.

Dea

I foresee a mad dash for the Lipstick Queen. Of course. And who can blame you?

So glad my annual sub is done.

Almost finished with my annual. When it’s over, never looking back!!!! I remember the good days of $10 Birchbox with the review points that you could use for full sized products. Those were the days haha
