I finally got my box today.

Total retail for the products is roughly $100, so for $20.00, it’s a real deal.

Looking forward to trying all of these.

I initially ordered two boxes through my Allure account & was confused by an additional charge of over $30 (I think it was $32 or $36 and change). I immediately disputed the charges & they were promptly refunded.
It seems that despite my consciously not clicking on the box to do so, my order included a one-year subscription to the Allure print magazine.
Just something to look out for, my friends.

I can’t ever login to my allure account. I emailed them. Instead of resolving the login issue, they asked me to call to order. I passed

That’s weird. I couldn’t log in with my email, and I emailed them and they sent me a reply with my account number, which let me in.

This was a great box! I’m so glad I got it! It arrived 7 days after I paid. I actually used every single item. I got the lip balm in hibiscus which is a very sheer reddish balm that I love!

Yay! I got my boxes in the mail today, I ordered two the same day as this spoiler post. For $20 each and four full sized items this is such a steal. I really like the moisturizer and have ordered it at full price at Sephora. I am shocked how much I like the lip balm. I received two of the vanilla flavored balms, would have liked to try another variety but oh well. Super impressed with this Allure box.

Yes I was charged and received a confirmation # about about a week ago. Should be receiving it next week

Has anyone who ordered this box had their card charged for it, or gotten a shipping notice or the actual box?

My card was charged for the monthly box, but after I ordered 2 of the K-beauty boxes, my card account showed pending charges for those, but then the pending charges disappeared, reappeared, and disappeared again. My card hasn’t been charged. I’m hoping the confusion is because of the virus mess, and not because the boxes are sold out. Thanks.

Well…. I emailed them last night to see what was going on. A couple of hours later I received an email with tracking info. This morning they responded to my email and said “Our records indicate that the charge of $21.55 for the Allure K-Beauty Box was processed on April 17, 2020.” I double checked my credit card and there are no such charges on April 17, but there is now a pending charge of $21.55 on my account, dated today. So…. who knows….

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

Hmmm…. so your comment prompted me to check bc I was certain I was all good. I remember seeing the pending charge, but now looking at my credit card info, I don’t see the charge at all – finalized or pending. I do have my email confirming my purchase. I don’t see a shipping notice, but I occasionally just delete those so I can be 100% confident I didn’t get one. Something seems fishy. Ugh.

I check after your comments! I also do not see the charge reflected on my account but I contacted Allure (I am subbed through them) and they said they received payment and gave me a tracking number for my order! Worth giving them a call to check. It’s very easy to get through, I’ve never had to wait to speak to someone.

FYI in case this helps someone… I haven’t had an Allure sub in over a year but this box and the May box piqued my interest but I wasn’t willing to pay $30 for this box or purchase the April regular box. I called their customer service # and they let me buy this box for $20 and hold my subscription until May so I only had to pay 36 bucks for the two boxes I wanted. Call went right through too!

Probably a dumb question but if I am a former member can I still get this for $20 or do I have to be a current subscriber? For $20, I would grab this in a heartbeat but $30 gives me pause haha

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

Not a dumb question. I was a former subscriber and I purchased it for $20. Just log in using the email you provided.

Reply ButtonReply

Kathy

I’m a former subscriber too, but I can’t figure out how to order the box! I went to the page and followed the link for subscribers, but no button to order showed up. It just took me to a page with my account information. Is there something I’m missing? Thx!

Pink5

Got mine on order.
I agree, you have to look closely to find the link, but what’s life without a challenge?

This Is exactly something I would love but I get the box through Amazon. Does anyone know if I can get this for $20? Has anyone emailed Allure?

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

If this were available to purchase through Amazon the way the regular subscription is, I would pick this up. Been really curious about the Saturday Skin cream….

Alice

I use the Glacier. It’s hydrating and I like the cooling gel texture, but it leaves a bit of a sticky residue (on my combo skin). Depending on our humidity, which is usually very high, it does eventually absorb. I definitely wouldn’t use it before makeup application. I prefer the Tatcha Water Cream to the SS Glacier.

I’m hoping Allure does a clean, vegan beauty box sometime.

Carol

Looks pretty nice, but I have too much of a stash right now lol. I hope they continue these special boxes though!

I was about to order this box as I wanted to try the eye product, but just did some research and I am NOT OK that they harm some snails to to get the snail mucin. This is what I found:

In order for farmers to extract the slime, they “agitate” and stress out the snails using salt, which is known to harm them, or they starve the snails to trigger them to release more mucus

Loulou

You hAve your facts wrong my friend.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

I found a video online showing how they do it. It looks like they just let them crawl on a warm thing to collect the slime and then put them away. However, it was hard to find much info in English so I’m not really sure.

Reply ButtonReply

Angela

This isn’t true and I believe that if the snails are agitated, they don’t produce mucin. I researched it before trying the Cosrx snail mucin essense. They keep the snails in a farm and for 30 minutes, the snails roam around a net in a dark room. The mucin is collected from the net.

Purchased. I love K-beauty and for $20 it seems like a good deal. The Saturday Skin is listed at $39 on Sephora so if I like that and nothing else it’s a great deal. I’ve already tried the cleansing balm from Ipsy and know I like it so I’m sure I’ll love it.

Dani

If that cleansing balm was full size instead of the water cream or any other full size item I would be all over this. That balm is awesome. I have super sensitive eyes but I can glob that stuff all over them to remove my eye makeup and there’s no irritation or discomfort whatsoever. That’s super rare for me and I’ve tried so many eye makeup removers over the past 30 years. Even Almay burns my eyes. But not this Clean It balm. Highly recommend!

Lane

You should try the one in the yellow container! It’s their hydrating version. It’s the best one. IMHO

Reply ButtonReply

Crystal

Same. I love that cleansing balm. So much better than the farmacy ones everyone is going crazy over.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Agree. I found the Farmacy irritating to my eyes.

TL

My daughter has rosacea and received a sample of the Zero cleansing balm in her Ipsy bag. She said it made such a difference! Only cleanser she will use.

Annette

Are amazon subscribers eligible for this offer w $10 off?

Reply ButtonReply

Nat

I would get it for $20. But I am subscribing through Amazon and there is no way I am switching my sub to Allure for this. Hope you all enjoy. Not paying $30 for this

Reply ButtonReply

Coco

I skipped my April box through Amazon and joined through Allure to get the deal. Got 2 K-beauty boxes, one will be a gift. Worth it to me, almost $90 worth of products for $20.

Reply ButtonReply

M

Seems expensive for 5 items with 1 a mask and 1 a lip balm.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

4 of the 5 are full size items. Not counting the cleansing balm (the one sample sized item), the value is $87.

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

It’s not clear how to receive the subscriber price.

Reply ButtonReply

Beccah

I received an email from allure and clicked the link in that to get the $20 price.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

If you follow the link MSA has provided for the box, the last sentence of the text on the page it takes you to reads “Become a member here to get the K-Beauty Box at the discounted member price ($20). Already a member? Click here to purchase your box. Limit four orders per customer.” Click on the second “here” and it will take you to a subscriber login interface where, once you’ve logged in, you can order at the $20 pricing. HTH.

mommaea

There is a small paragraph at the end of the description that says if you are already a member to click here. Just an fyi…once you order you can not go back and order more through you membership. You can order up to 4 boxes though.

Kelly

I tried to log in since I have a subscription, but it won’t recognize my email address. It’s trying to charge me $30 instead of $20. If anyone figures it out, please let us know here!
