I saw that Herbal Dynamics uses Phenoxyethanol in their products, even in the ones you put on your mouth, I won’t be trying this box, maybe I’ll wait until the next one and see if it’s better, I’m disappointed when boxes appear to be clean and natural while still using synthetic and chemical ingredients

I also see that this brand, Herbal Dynamics Beauty, has a 20% off code PLUS free U.S. shipping. It makes me want to hop on buying a product or two before May’s box. The packaging is kind of cute (I’m a sucker for packaging). I really shouldn’t be buying anything. I received the FaceTory Spring Lux Plus box already last month. I should be getting the 7 Lux from FaceTory this month along with Pearlesque as well as replenishing some brands / certain products I’m running out of. Not just so much the frugalness of it (though that is good, too), but I don’t want so much product sitting on my shelves (I’m the skincare junkie in my family).

I’ve tried all except for Clean Beauty. Boxwalla is hands-down, my favorite. Second, it’s a tie with Detox Box a slight edge over Beauty Heroes. It has been probably a year since I’ve subscribed to Pearlesque. I don’t miss the box at all. The others have brands I’m much more familiar and see on my favorite sites like Space NK, Cult Beauty, etc.

Hi Lisa, I tried a lot of the boxes you mentioned and sort of felt underwhelmed by a lot of them. My new favorite skin care boxes (and the only ones I sub to now) are the FaceTory Lux Plus quarterly box and See New Skin Care quarterly box. With the other ones, it was just too costly ($50 plus) for 2 items is pretty steep. I also like that these boxes come once a quarter so I don’t feel to overwhelemed by incoming cleansers and moisturizers.

Sure, $50 is steep for 2 items if you trying to accumulate as many products as possible, but if you are looking for quality over quantity, it’s not much at all

I have tried 4 of the boxes you listed: Beauty Heroes, Laurel & Reed, Boxwalla and The Detox Box. Beauty Heroes is my favorite and the one I don’t mind signing up for longer subscriptions. With other ones, I just get boxes I like. Some boxes don’t appeal to me at all so I skip those. With Laurel & Reed, it’s very easy just to get a box at a time and you don’t even have to cancel a sub. I got just one Boxwalla box which was the one for this past February with oil and moisturizer. They were really good. I have no interest in the current one. The Detox Box has a lot of misses for me, but when it’s good, it’s really good. Loved Naturapathica as well as Ayuna boxes.

Lisa, I personally like Laurel & Reed, Boxwalla and The Detox Box. April’s Pearlesque Box will be my first box, so don’t have an opinion yet, but it looks great so far. I typically love Laurel & Reed and Boxwalla, and occasionally get the Detox Box. I also have the FaceTory Korean skincare box in their Lux Plus Quarterly Box. I love that one, too.

I’ve never heard of this brand, but I like the packaging of the products, lol.
I haven’t been subbed to Pearlesque in a while (probably since last Summer), but if I remember correctly, they typically ship between the 10th to 15th. I always felt like I got my boxes close to the 20th of each month. 🙂
