I ordered the 35 dollar perfecting makeup mystery bag with promised RV of 85 dollars. All the unboxings and Vicky H (in her post above) had same products as mine except I received a MINI highlighter in Star Island instead of full size Retrograde and by my calculation only about a 67 dollar value (and that is guessing the mini highlighter is 14.00 for 4 gram size since 10 gram full size is $35). I emailed and their response was that my bag included minis. I obviously knew this but the big ticket item in the bag would have been the full size highlighter. Had I not watched unboxings, I may not have thought any more of it. I did send another email that i disputed the promised RV early this morning and no response back to that yet. I also ordered a 10 dollar bottle of hand sanitizer 8 oz. I will not purchase any more items from their company. It was the first time I made a purchase directly from Ofra. Buyer beware!

Spoiler Alert…

Blush in Mai Tai $29 (it’s the color of orange sherbert and not my jam)
Long Lasting liquid lip in Spell $20 (in the old packaging and also the color of orange sherbert…sigh)
Lip Liner is Cherish $13 (strawberry pink, also not wearable for me)
Lip Gloss in Mocha$15 (in old squeeze tube packaging, mauve nude)
Eye shadow refill 4g $12 (slate gray and only good if you have a z palette)

Not thrilled at all. I will probably only get use out of the gloss, but I will make an effort to use the other iems

Why did I buy this?!? 😔

SPOILER ALERT

*Retrograde highlighter $35 (half Neptune and half star island)
*Santa Monica liquid lip $20
*Banana setting powder $16 (on sale for $10)
*Makeup setting spray $10
*Makeup wipes $7

Total value $88 pre-sale price and $82 with sale price adjustment

Total items 5

I like the lippie and highlighter but didn’t need them. I will use the wipes. If I had bought the items individually that I liked with a 40% discount code, I would have spent $33-$37. I broke even but gave up the choice of shades and items for 2 giveaway (Won’t use) products and a makeup bag.

If you add another product or two to your order, you can get free shipping. I don’t know if it’s still good (was two days ago), but the code SPRINGFLING will get you 40% off all non-sale items, including collabs. Farmacy sent me the code for some reason for Ofra…weird.

Just to clarify, the 40% off won’t apply to mystery bags.

Let’s just say I wasn’t enamored with their most recent mystery box. The lip product wipes were a huge disappointment, and there was a brush that was so-so. Nothing else in there of excitement. I do like Ofra products. The box just didn’t have anything great.

I bought 3 like 6 months ago and they were $15 each with a value of over $100. So it’s a no for me. And I received lots of Highlighters an eyeshadow palette, lip wipes, matte lip and gloss. Their peptide mask and their tanning lotion.

That’s why I didn’t order this time around. I’m willing to shell out $15 taking a chance, but not more.

Yah, I got one of the $15 dollar ones, and those were variety, so I should have got more! Even if the firming face cream and wipes in it were a dud, I did love the highlighter I got and there were a few more treats in it as well. (Including a lip gloss that I liked, so I bought 4 of their ‘mystery’ lip glosses in a sale they had later – only to receive four more of the exact same shade! Lol.)

Tempted but I do not like the phrase “4 or more mini OR full-sized skincare products”. OR makes me think it will just be mini’s.

Im a little confused. One bag is $25 and another is $35, both witha $5 shipping cost. BUT, their descriptions are identical AND we’re told that both bags contain the same exact products..
Ummm.. Then why would I choose to pay $35 instead of $25???

The $25 box is old packaging and I believe it doesn’t contain a makeup bag. It’s sold out though as of this morning.

The $35 boxes (makeup or skincare) “should” be newer items since Ofra didn’t change packaging that long ago and will also come with the bag.

Both bags are $35 plus shipping, but one is makeup and one is skin care. The statement that all bags will be the same means all the skin care bags will be the same and all of the makeup bags will be the same. Hope that helps.

the less expensive one is old packaging.

I’ve always wondered about their skincare.

I got a firming day cream in my first mystery bag and it’s pretty terrible. Pills on my skin, heavy, greasy, doesn’t work under makeup, a third of the product was missing due to giant air bubbles – at least it *does* do a tiny bit of firming over time, so I sometimes use it at night or when I know no one will see me and I’m not going out, especially on my neck/throat/chin area.

They never posted my 2-star review of it, either – all the reviews are 4-5 ones from people who got it free in a sample program, which is a bit of a red flag.

But I only paid $15 for that mystery bag (I think I got something else so I’d get free shipping) and I got the full size retrograde? highlighter (a purple and a really pale shade) so I couldn’t complain that the cream was a miss.

But it was $50 rv and the hero item of the bag. So while I like most Ofra makeup, I don’t think I would risk a mystery skincare bag. The cleansing wipes I got were also a dud, couldn’t even get all my lipstick off, so why $7 a bag rv? Baby wipes work better.

This morning I used their face cream, I really like it. It is very rich but not greasy. I like Ofra product, but had bad luck with mystery bags. However, I am so tempted right now.
