I received the April box today and must say, was wow’d by the exfoliating mitt! I used it in the shower today with the Wakey Wakey gel. I already want to buy a second exfoliating mitt. It seriously makes your skin very soft. Tried out the Mukti Elixir by mixing a small amount into my nightly facial cream. Like it so far and hope to get great results with it. Plan to use the Wabi-Sabi Botanicals mask / exfoliant tomorrow and see how that goes. I think this is a solid box and can’t wait to get more use out of it.

I love Mukti I received from this month’s Beauty Heroes. Definitely getting this. Such a great value. Looking forward to trying the body wash too.

Meh, I found a new skincare box (thanks to a fellow MSA commenter that I’m loving. See New Skincare. If you aren’t loving this box and since the Detox box is a hard pass.

I like this spoiler too, I bought the February box and loved almost everything but skipped March. April is back on!

Also, am I the only one that finds these shameless plugs offensive? It’s one thing to comment on liking or disliking a product, service, sub or brand. But to actually say “meh, I found a new box…” and then go on to plug the sub. What does this “meh” even refer to? A competitor’s box? The brands in this box? The price? I noticed this happened on a Beauty Heroes post as well. I did originally just see comments that effectively said, check out this new box which were fine and I did scope them out. But when I see disparaging vague comments in order to market their own box, I find it highly distasteful. At first I was thinking of subbing to the new box but these new comments have made me do a complete 360. It reminds me of political attack ads, so ugly.

I really enjoyed the Sonage stem cell mask but it’s very pricey for a small tub. I have not tried anything of their other products yet and I don’t think the mask is in the box.

I don’t own or work for any subscription boxes 😁

Flora, I agree 100%. Truth be told…

Nat

I agree with everything you said Flora. All these plugs sound incredible rude as they are putting down another box. Will never get the box they are promoting. As far as Laurel & Reed, I skipped the past 3 boxes as nothing appealed to me and I have a lot of products. Before skipping, I got 3 boxes in a row. I am back for the April box. Overall this sub is great especially now that there is 20% off code on their site

The owner(s) of this See New box have made tons of comments in lots of different posts. People have called them out in it several times but they keep doing it. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to just contact Liz with their new box and make arrangements with her to promote it on MSA.

Lisa, I’m debating on the Sonnage. You like? Holding for this month…

Tanya, I purchased some Sonnage products from Ipsy offers a few months back and they were Meh.. felt like drugstore quality IMO.. i literally just tried them once and haven’t reached for them since.. Granted, I AM a bit of a skincare snob, so someone else may love them

Lisa

Truth be told, I just signed up for an annual bi-monthly subscription last week. Their last boxes looked great when I compared them to Detox, L&R, Pearlesque, Boxwalla, etc. If you use…Empowerwomen… you get 35% off your order. I did look at reviews for Sonnage and they sounded promising.
