Actually really liking my mystery bag products this month!!!! Usually I’m not as satisfied!

I got:

1. Ahava Deasea water mineral hand cream sea kissed 1.3 oz.

2. AphroditE olive oil deep cleansing face mask .51 oz.

3. Cela seed to skin scrub .7 oz.

4. Urban Juve ultra hydrating lip balm with hemp oil 4g.

5. Belief true cream moisturizing bomb .33 oz.

I got the same thing! I was happy with it mostly, and I’ll use everything. I wish the belif item was the eye cream instead, but still happy with the product.

I agree with most you ladies here ..why do the mystery bag items have to such? I like the bags themselves but I don’t think it’s worth the $14. I got the valentines mystery bag and it literally contained items I received in my first bag two years ago..I couldn’t bring myself to use them because I was afraid they’d be the same products still sitting in storage for the last two years…SMH..

hmm! looks interesting. Might pass on this one. Does anyone know of any hair subscription boxes by any chance? Thanks!

Dumb question but does it come in the bag pictured? Because I might buy it for the bag alone.

Tara W

Yes. Bear in mind that it will be the size of a make-up bag, though.

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

So the same size of the normal Ipsy bags or smaller?

Alice

Would be a waste of money for me. I love my Ipsy subs, but the mystery bags I’ve purchased were all lass than stellar. Not falling for it again. I certainly don’t want more of that Hempz lotion. Very easy pass.

I with you alice ..no more surprises for me too.

I feel the same way but I got pressured because of the bag! It will probably be my last mystery bag hopefully

I love the Mystery Bags and think they make great gifts for friends & family that dont subscribe. Super happy that they’re doing a skincare bag at a time that many of us are no longer wearing makeup. I’m definitely getting one! Anything to make these trying times a little more bearable.

I’ll admit, I’m bored and I want mail 🙂 I wish we could swap at least.

I’m actually a little paranoid about getting mail nowadays. I leave my packages on the porch overnight, because the virus is can live on cardboard for 24 hours and on plastic for 72.

Dawn

I wish I would have read the comments before I bought one. 🙁

Don’t give in to peer pressure! LOL. For what it’s worth, I almost never get anything of the brands listed in the spoilers, although I AM hoping I will get a Hanalei lip balm, because I ordered the citrus one as an add on last month and I love it. And I loved my February mystery bag. So there is hope!

Of course, I almost always order because of the bag itself. After that, I really only need to like one product to make it worth my while, and there’s always been at least one thing to like.

I am going to pass on this one. The last mystery bag I got was pretty underwhelming and left a lot to be desired.

They have new items up for points too!

Randie

Thanks MzBev! I’ve been waiting and waiting for something I want to redeem for.

That Hempz pineapple lotion that I can’t give away and a tiny Belif sample? Let’s see. Not a difficult decision.

Agree with Ash_Kay that a mystery bag shouldn’t cost more than a bag that’s tailored to your profile. The point of a mystery bag is for them to get rid of excess inventory, so charge the price of a regular bag or less.

I was booped last mystery bag, so I’m sitting this one out.

Haha I love the term “booped”.

I got booped for the Valentine’s Day bag. The bag itself was adorable, the contents were dismal.

Alice

Thanks for the chuckle, y’all!

Pooja

Looking at the brands included it could be a good bag but I am never ever falling for their mystery bags as in my opinion they just try to get rid of their inventory this way.

Marion

Very smart of them to coordinate the look of this bag with the 3 main bags that are coming out this month!

Last Thursday, Ipsy Offers had a bundle of skincare samples, including a past Ipsy bag & keychain. All the samples looked like stuff I would use, except several of them were dupes for items I already have in my stash. If I didn’t need that bag which was full of product I knew I’d like, I don’t need this one, either!

Reply ButtonReply

Valerie

They did that last month too! I forget what the mystery bag title was but I purchased it and it was the same blue/yellow combo and styling of all three bags last month. I subscribe to all three bags so it was a nice fourth piece with a cool design to it….

Marion

Cool! Did you get good products?

Marion

Apparently the offer, called Hydration Heroes is still available til tomorrow.

it’s only five items, and a mystery bag. cute bag, but it’s a no for me dawg. so, from above brands, i’m guessing a small lip product from hanalei (which, i love but with no applicator, no bueno), belif bomb lotion (still have so many, unopened), hempz lotion or lip product (no lip applicator) and to me it’s not worth the $14 when you can get v+r for $16 from glossybox. imo

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

Yeah, & the Niu Body item is probably a lip scrub.

I’d also be pretty surprised if they didn’t throw in some of their thousands of Purlisse samples they seem to have a never-ending stock of.

Reply ButtonReply

Beccah

Nope! Not falling for the “mystery” bag again!

Reply ButtonReply

Ash_Kay

I don’t get why this costs an additional two dollars.

Reply ButtonReply

TheOtherJulia

I don’t either. It should just be $12 like the regular bags. Especially since you don’t know what you’re getting! I do really like the bag, it’s cute, but I don’t think I will be buying it. I like to know what’s in it.

Emma

The past glam bags, and bags like these that are essentially glam bags, have always been $2 more than the monthly subscription price, I assume because it makes actually subscribing more attractive. (Why would I subscribe month to month if I can get the bags later for the same price?) And I imagine they prefer subscribers for the month to month bags because it’s easier for them to anticipate their inventory needs.

I was weak. I got 2 for me and my mom’s birthday.

Luna

I really like that zipper pull!
