I’m so confused. I had my Callender set for boxy popup on the 11th. I went to the site on the 11th and no boxy popup…a message instead saying boxy popup is on the 13th….which was super confusing because I knew it originally said the 11th. But anyway so I then set my Callender for the 13th…on the 13 I go to the site to take advantage of the boxy popup..well guess what..im greeted with yet another message saying boxy popup is on the 15th!!!!! Wth is going on????!!!!

Does anyone know what time the Boxy Pop Up will open on Monday May 11th? or what time they usually open at? I have never actually done the Pop Up I have been a subscriber for a long time and want to check it out this month.

I realize this is the wrong thread but I’m hoping someone can help me. I signed up for the April Boxycharm base box with new member gift and I got a March box. The variation I received is horrible! What should I do as I only signed up to get April?

I have contacted their customer service and the representative told me I signed up for a mystery box but that is untrue. They did change it a few days later to, “Get A Mystery Box,” but it said, “Get April’s box” when I signed up. I’m fact, even it my items it says, “April 2020 Box.”

All boxycharm boxes are mystery boxes. Regardless of what they show as spoilers, there are countless variations of the box each month and you never know what you’re going to get.

Thanks Tara! I sent them a screenshot and I will see what they say. This is so disappointing. I signed up to get 3 April boxes to gift my girls for their birthdays and I feel so duped. I have heard from several people that they are deceitful and like to be sneaky. I kinda knew what to expect from them. so shame on me I guess.

Maybe screen shot where it shows that you will be receiving April 2020 box and send it to them? What day did you sign up? I’ve had to interact with Boxy customer service twice in the past and they were actually quick and good in my case. However there are A LOT of people who say BC has bad customer service. If they don’t help out when you send the screen shot, honestly they might just offer you charms if nothing else, then you have your final option of contacting your credit card company and denying the charges, saying you didn’t get what you paid for. However you might never get to subscribe to Boxy again after that, so take that into account. Sorry that it hasn’t worked out for you. It is a gamble with Boxy for sure.

I’ve had Premium almost since it started. At first it was great especially because it had 6-8 products and very few variants. Then 2020 rolls around and the variants start multiplying like crazy. One of the reasons I subscribed to Premium was to avoid this because I seem to always get the worst possible products in general and/or the wrong colors and types of makeup and skincare for me personally. Like dark purple lipstick, dark brown eyebrow stuff when mine are blonde as is my hair, acne/harsh cleansers, masks, etc when I have very sensitive dry and aging skin. Plus we’re only getting six products now which is only one more than the base but we pay $10 more. And this month one was a mini product. I think they even changed the official description to 6-7 products instead of the initial 6-8. I have major issues with FOMO and stayed subscribed hoping it would get better but this is my last month for sure. The products are not any better than the ones in the base box and since you only get one more I don’t think it’s worth it.
I’ve gotten Luxe off and on and honestly sometimes it’s a good deal and sometimes not so much. Because I don’t like to stay subscribed to all the boxes I haven’t always been able to resubscribe in time for some of the better months. I’ve had a few that were a pretty solid value and variety and quality but also a couple with cheap filler products like offensive makeup bags and junk that’s more like what would usually be free swag.
So I would say maybe try Luxe especially if you can get off the waitlist for June and then maybe try a month or two of Premium since Luxe is quarterly and see what you end up with. Some people luck out and consistently get the better variations so I recommend finding out if that happens or you find you’re one of us that get the crappy stuff month after month. Good luck!

I wish these subscription boxes would stop making it a condition to shop their sale to be a current member. I believe current members absolutely should have first pick regardless of your membership level but Everyone who’s been with a subscription box for awhile knows they have so much inventory (I especially hate the sold out then see it pop up again in a future sale) they could potentially get new members by opening a sale for any nonmember after the member sale it would clear out old stock so people don’t get repeats in their boxes (three subscription boxes are extremely famous for that) it would potentially spark interest for someone who was thinking about it but wasn’t sure. And again I’ll go back to not seeing the same product in the next months box (not sure if any boxycharm member has had this problem) or the every other box getting the same repeated things for the entire year (I’ll call bless box out for this one because that was my biggest complaint besides sending items that exploded in the box and contacting cs asking them to not send that particular product and having it happen 3 more times making it my mess to clean up this is why I absolutely could not continue to spend $38 for products that I was getting 2-10 of in my boxes it was like they just rearranged the leftover stock into different themes, the theme should have been cleaning out all this stock until it’s gone and maybe we’ll be a better subscription service or if all our customers leave them were done…seems like done is what they were aiming for).
Sorry I had to vent about that I wasted so much money on that sub and each box online looked amazing and when I’d get mine it was crap I got from years before or even the month before. That’s why I think sub boxes should open their sales after all their members get what they want and let everyone else see what they have to offer I bet sales would increase with subscriptions I know I’d subscribe if I could shop a preview type sale, but with over 30+ current subscriptions I don’t want to keep subscribing just to cancel after my mandatory 3 boxes before I decide if they suck or keep….. just a thought while trapped inside getting more bored by the minute and yes I know I’m coming down with this crap and I don’t want to give in I need to keep my mind busy in order for my body to be strong enough to fight it off…I sincerely hope…. or maybe my fever is causing me to rant my husband said yesterday I was outta my mind with my actions and what I’d say so hopefully today is the beginning of my recovery because yesterday I definitely couldn’t even read this page let alone type anything I just hope I make some sort of sense…honestly this is why I’m commenting on a lot of things today I’m asking people to point out if I am talking about a subject and either go so off script or I make zero sense…I’d greatly appreciate it it would really help me determine if I’m getting better or not because unless I need a ventilator the hospitals will not admit me…… thank you if you took the time to read this and decipher my own healthcare since the hospitals don’t want to.. be well everyone!!

I disagree. I get all 3 tiers and the past few months haven’t been good. I feel like in order to kinda make up for that, by being able to buy things first make up for that I dont skip months that are bad, I’m just dumb and loyal all the way through. Lol. I actually think waitlist people shouldnt be able to buy either until the next day.
But with this said, I believe there should be limits oer itembper household. Like limit 2 of anything because that would save a bit of people buying them up on many accounts just to resell. It’s one thing to get a box and sell things you do not want/use/like but a whole other to order a bunch of extras just to make side money off of. That’s not cool. Just my .02

I got it…and I’m almost 8 weeks into it…still trying to recover. Im 60, btw.
It was BAD. You’ll have to tough it out at home, unless you actu6cannot breathe. Because they’ll send yiu home and tell you exactly that.
And, if yiu go out, you’re a,spreader.
About the sales. I’m a subber, and the only item I wanted through last sale was sold out by the time I logged on.

You can sign up for Premium and then shop the sale and technically not have an actual active sub yet if you get stuck on the waitlist. You still have to get 1 month of regular boxy to sign up for premium. Then just cancel it. I’m not sure how long the Premium waitlist is right now, but the last time I waited, it was 6 months. I’m tempted to do that but there’s nothing really out of the spoilers that I want (I’m pretty overloaded right now from past sales and Scentbird).

I have found I must stick with the neutral eyeshadow, and Pastels. Even in the 80’s I could not do the 80’s look.
The red eyeshadows make me look especially hideous:)
