I have mixed feelings about my box but atleast first 3 products will be used. I don’t use any hair products and I don’t do much make up so eyeshadow pallet is not for me.
Looks like everyone is getting IBY eyeshadow this month.

– Stila lip gloss (choice)
– R+Co Rodeo thickening foam (love R+Co; don’t use this type of product)
– MAC strobe cream (eeeuuugh)
– Onekind pore refining mask (don’t use this type of product)
– IBY eye shadow (already own this palette… twice over, actually. have one up for swap.)
I’m. I don’t know. This might be a good box for someone, not me? I don’t have any complaints about the brands or quality of the products. Between the highlight cream, mousse, & mask, it just feels like Birchbox deliberately put in the items I indicated that I do not use in my current routine.

I’d love this bag except for the strobe cream, but I gave up Birchbox awhile ago (too many repeats and tiny samples). Sorry you’re unhappy with it. How big is that palette, though?

From the photos of the curated boxes, it looks like we’re all getting a little clamshell of shimmery champagne shadow from the palette. IBY has made other samples from this palette, so it’s possible that Birchbox may be sending more than one shade.
Generally, I like IBY shadow samples. They are a great size (the “sample” size pan is actually larger than the individual shade pan in the palette), they’re sturdy for throwing in a travel bag, & the color of the clamshell is the same color as the shadow, so you don’t have to dig around to find exactly the shade you need.
