I got a Cult Beauty box a little while ago and loved it, so I was looking forward to this (and I love Wayne Goss), but this isn’t very good. I like that setting powder a lot, but I still have another full size powder on deck. And I just can’t get excited over cleansers or single eyeshadows, no matter how pretty they may be lol. Maybe next time.

Love Wayne Goss, but I’m not excited by this collection. I think I’m one of the few people that doesn’t like Laura Mercier powder. The drunk elephant cleanser gets really mixed reviews. And the Pixi (Allure box) and Inkey products might be good, but I already have some in my line up of things I’ve received and am getting ready to test. Plus they’re relatively inexpensive so it makes this box seem like less of a value. But I know that’s just me, I’m sure many others will snap this box up!

The DE cleanser sort of feels like rubbing cooking oil on your face, it’s not terrible but it’s joyless to use.

Its funny that you said that. I started have bad allergic reactions to eye makeup removers so I started massaging olive oil all over my face and it does a really good job, especially with very stubborn eye and lip makeup, that’s all I will use now. Then I wash it off and follow up with one of my regular cleansers.

I’m with you on the Laura Mercier powder. Calling it “translucent” is a joke. It is nicely milled, but it’s YELLOW.

When Wayne announced and showed all the products in the box on his YouTube a week or so ago, it was the emulsion in the box. So hopefully whoever was doing the cut and paste for the photo grabbed the wrong product pic.

I realize the description says LIXIRSKIN universal emulsion, but the picture shows LIXIRSKIN Electrogel cleanser, which means this box will have 2 cleansers in it. I’m not sure if the error is the photo or the description, but the emulsion would make this a better box.

Good eye! I think the picture is wrong, because Cult Beauty originally showed the Universal Emulsion when they spoiled the box a few days ago, and in Wayne Goss’s YT video revealing the collab he shows the Universal Emulsion.

Good eye. One of the other photos on the site shows the emulsion, so I would assume it is probably the emulsion included.

The removal of the VAT a new thing? I have purchased items from the UK before and don’t remember the price coming down. Glad it did though.
