The April 2020 Ipsy Add-Ons are available now! These are additional products you can add to your Glam Bag, Glam Bag Plus, or Glam Bag Ultimate subscription.

Here’s everything you need to know about Ipsy Add-Ons:

Add-Ons are available for 24 hours!

You have to reveal your glam bag spoilers to gain access to Add-Ons. To access add-ons, visit ipsy.com or the ipsy mobile app for your monthly Spoiler Alert. Once you complete the Spoiler Alert, you will see a selection of products that can be added to your bag. Select the products you’d like, confirm your order, and the products will ship with your glam bag

You may choose up to 5 add-on products per month. These items will be added to your glam bag or glam bag plus shipment. And shipping is free!

The Add-Ons will be a small selection of products, some of which are from that month’s Glam Bag assortment. Sample-sized products at $3 each. Full-size products are $12

I’m curious as to when will my card be charged for the add-ons… If it’s same time they charge for my subscription, or is it as soon as I select them or add them??

Second month in a row I couldn’t order add ons! They didn’t even email me about them this time. Emailed CS to see what’s up because add ons are a huge part of why I subscribe to GBP!

This month felt pretty unexciting to me, so I treated myself to the two Complex Culture eye brushes I didn’t get last month. Feeling like a rebel making up my own add-ons here (even though it’s only a 10% discount) and honestly super excited!

(But also trying to drag my attention away from that IBY pallette…)

No, they’re in the ipsy shop and they are expensive. I love them, but I’ve been spoiled by getting them as add ons and in bags. Wouldn’t pay that much for them.

I hope they’re not done with all the Complex Culture brushes. I missed out on adding one last month and they are by far my favorite brushes of all time. Would buy the whole set or add on any one that popped up.

I added on the IBY Palette, Trestique mini lip pencils, Seraphine lip gel and the yellow phone charm. I don’t generally care for their ‘swag’ but that one is really cute imo.

Like many, I too wish I could have added on the BobbyBrown lipstick. Did anyone actually get this in their bag reveal?

Nope. I didnt get the bobbi brown in my bag (probably because I chose a dose of colors one) and didnt see as an add on or I would have….I dont even want to admit this out loud..but I act6added on the bella pierre lipstick because the color looks pretty and didnt pay attention to the brand until after I added it, so hopefully it’s a nice one. Lol

I also added the iby pallette, the ultimate bag, the blush brush and luxie eye brush, the kokie conclear (I got this in a bag a year ago and absolutely love it) and the belle pierre lipstick and dun dun dun the gel black eyeliner. Excited to see a gel in a pencil form. I hope it’s a good brand as it seems to be the only type of liner that looks good on my aging eyelid skin without showing cracks and lines.

I was pretty sure I received a Bellepierre lipstick recently and I thought the formula was nice just not the right red for me. If I saw a color I loved I would totally get it too.

I think the general complaint about Bellepierre and manna kadar, etc. is that they are primarily sub box brands and seemingly used as filler and to inflate the total RV but when marketing their boxes companies advertise in demand store brands so that creates a bit of animosity there too. If it works for you though, awesome.

I, for one, have quite enjoyed the Eyeko mascaras I have tried and so don’t mind receiving them and feel rather bad about all the disparaging remarks they generate (tho I understand why) and now I hardly see them pop up anymore. I do think the recent shady business with Faccia et al. was right to be called out and I’m glad some people took notice and were dedicated enough to look into it and do that.

I got the Shaina B Miami Blush Brush cus the reviews for the brushes on their site looked good and it’s supposedly worth $23 and I always need a good brush, the serepahine botanicals lip gel (which I almost overlooked and saw it last second, definitely a steal for $3), the Bella Pierre full size Lip stick, and the Kokie cosmetics concealer which is for my mom actually, I liked the oryza eyeshadow palette and there’s so many good deals under the deluxe sample section this month but I have a lot of eyeshadow already which also kept me from buying the $12 IBY pallete (did anyone buy that? The shades look so cute) but I’m just happy I was in the position to buy add-ons at all this month with everything that’s going on 😩 who knows what position I’ll be in next month I’m here in RI very close to NY but some people are struggling already this month and don’t have money to prioritize things like this right now so they won’t get a box at all never mind add-ons so yeah not to be negative but it’s awful what’s going on I’m just grateful to still be in the position to be here talking about my add-ons. Yes, I added the eyeshadow pallette. Ugh. I even went with the gel black eyeliner and the dun dun dun dreaded3bramd belle pierre that everyone tries to avoid…hahaha, I just seen that color and loved it and then after I bought them I looked at the brand and am amused myself since everyone with sub boxes and such tries to avoid that brand. Lol. I hope it’s good though.

I also got and love the kokie and the blush brush. And I got the luxie eyeshadow brush too.

I hope you stay safe out there, along with everyone else. It’s a scary time and we all need to work together to help each other out if we can. Even if its giving a neghibor one roll of toilet paper and paper towels. Especially to an older person that maybe lives alone or looks like they struggle. Even if you make a little bag and hang it on their door could make Difference in someone’s life right now.

I hope everyone is staying safe and being considerate. You know, I went out for the first time in weeks the other day and went to the store. There were 4 12 packs of toilet paper on the shelf (its non existent in my town and shelves of food almost bare…I just took 1 of the 12 packs. The worker told me to “go ahead and take the other 3” if I wanted… I could have, as it would save me from worrying about it for a while nd sve me from getting sick since my immune system and health isnt stable anyway..I couldnt do it. I thanked him and walked away with just the one in my cart and I hope that the next person didnt come along and scoop up all of them, so that way the next person could have the chance to buy some as well. You dont really think about things like that until this situation. I know it’s really changed how I look at things and when things are back to “normal” i will stock up and do things differently. I plant a garden every year and share with 10 families or so, but I’m going to try to make it a bit bigger this year to try and learn to can some and have extra to share too.

I got all 8 add-ons! I thought I wouldn’t like anything, lol. The Christophe Robin Scalp Scrub (I can’t wait to try it), Seraphine Botanicals lip gel (I love the one I already have!) Araceli blender brush, Tony Moly cleanser, a hand cream, concealer, Bellepierre lipstick (FULL-SIZE! for $3 and a color I like, yes!), and Goomee hair ties.

I would like it if they would offer all the bags as an add on instead of just the one from Ultimate. I did not get the Plus because I got the ultimate this month but would have loved to buy just the bag. Anyone else feel this way?

I was thinking about this the other day… I think it might be because pricing for it would be weird? Like, they wouldn’t want to charge $12 for it like the Ultimate, but $3 might make it more of a logistical hassle than it’s worth.

I also had the Verso Dark Spot treatment as an add on option for $18 so I picked that up. With a RV of $150 I just couldn’t pass it up and I definitely have acne scars I would like to fade

I added on the concealer, Seraphine botanicals gloss , lipstick, and the Orzya eyeshadow pallete. Can’t beat $12 for all full sized products. I like to make my own glam bad with add on’s! Lol

I highly recommend the Seraphine Botanicals lip gel if anyone is thinking about adding it. It’s a full size product for $3. It’s sheer & shimmery, and it’s my favorite shade in this lip line.

I didnt even see the gel liner…now I wish I would have seen and got one to try it since everyone seems to be saying amazing things about it. I might have to search it outside of ipsy if it’s that good.

I actually didn’t buy as much as I thought I would, lol. Would have loved to add on the Glossier + Murad moisturizers, the ORYZA liquid shadow, & the Girlactik Jello gloss, and of course any of the nail polishes!
