  1. I emailed boxycharm about my choice email never being sent. I wanted to make sure I got my pick. They replied with:

    “Thanks for writing in! So sorry to hear that you haven’t received your Choice email. Choice confirmations for the April Base & Premium boxes can now be viewed on the front page of http://www.boxycharm.com. You must be logged in. If you cannot see it, please refresh the page!

    If you have both Base & Premium, you may only see confirmation of one of your Choices for now. For example, if you participated in Base Choice & Premium Choice, you may only see your Premium Choice confirmation on your account, and not your Base Choice confirmation.

    We are currently working on making this feature perfect. In the meantime, your Choices are not affected. 📷Let us know if you have any questions. We hope this helps!”

    And so I went and signed in and sure enough, there was my kopari choice! Yay! TBH, I haven’t had a bad time with their customer service yet. They have always been really helpful to me. Thank you Boxy <3

  2. I went with the kopari. I was debating going for the toner, but it says oily and normal skins and I am a bone dry skin type, so it scared me away lol. I haven’t gotten my confirmation email yet though, which is kind of weird. Hope you all stay safe from the corona!

  3. Still waiting for a response about my boxyluxe repeat of the 200$ Qms lip liner two boxyluxe boxes Dec and march same pricey item that I didn’t pick for second time for march.

  5. Awful. I was hoping to chose a palette!!!! I think they know they can send us crap since people like me don’t want to lose our place in line. They are taking us for granted 😕.

  6. It’s 2.30 on the 13th and I just went to my page and there is no longer an option to choose anything, it doesn’t even come up. I am so disappointed. And as far as march boxyluxe, i was disappointed in the bum bum and coco cabana cream duo, the becca glow stick its translucent it does absolutely nothing maybe add some shine but no color, so big dud, and then I got a 3 pack of invisabobbles, that just feel sop cheap to me in a luxe box. I don’t know what the guaranteed total for the box is supposed to be but mine came out to 318. Lets hope April is better but bummed I didn’t get to choose for premium. I did choose for the base box though i chose the elemis serum, bummed I don’t have the chance to choose for premium, they really need to fix issues with this system or go back to doing choice thru emails.

    • Anytime you are unable to see the option to choose anything try to type in boxycharm/choice in your browser. That works for me cause usually I am unable to see any choice options too. You also can’t log on too early. Maybe around 12 noon it usually is up. Hope this helped a little.

      • Thanks for the heads up I will try that next month. I was able to search and get the page and pf course now it says that choice fro premium is closed. I emailed them that I had no choice options to see if they will do anything but I doubt it. But i will do that next month for sure.

    • I never got any notification at all and it’s closed. Second time this happened and I keep getting a bunch of stuff I don’t want

    • Try logging out and logging back in. That helped me last time.

      • That’s what works for me too! I kept refreshing the page and nothing was happening so I logged out and then right back in and it worked so I’ve been doing that the last couple of months. Also, I think a lot of people are still expecting to receive a notification e-mail because I’ve seen quite a few complaints about not receiving an e-mail about choice. I think instead of sending those lately Boxy has just been advertising that choice is open on their social media.

    • You just explained my box. Highly disappointed because those items never felt luxe.

    • Wait that was the Luxe box iam so sad I got the same crap you did ina huge box never can I pick my choice I felt even offended really since they started with the premium 35 box all we get is horrible things iam honestly going to cancel there gone end up like Ipsy 😔😡

I didnt get to choose a product they only had stila glitter shadow and the becca blush… I decided to let boxycharm choose for men but I’m disappointed sc with how choice was handled, I’m disappointed with the 2 samples of bum bum cream and I’m upset that boxycharm didnt answer my email that i sent them. I cancelled.my base box and boxyluxe. If.i dont get an answer from boxy the I might cancel this box as well.. I am disgusted by this company’s actions and the weird products in the box as well. .

    • Same for me! I didn’t get any notification and by the time I got there everything was picked over but the Stila and the Becca. So I too just picked the surprise me option. I’m pretty mad about it too, especially after getting so many things I can’t use in the Fenty box. Also I really thought we would get to pick a palette. I’m pretty sure no one wants that PUR palette!

  8. I am disappointed. 3 items were not available…only the blush and eyeshadow were left. I didn’t choose because I don’t want either. I just got a blush in my last months box, and I hate getting cream eye shadow of any kind. I also don’t like eye shadow singles. I have soooo many palettes I don’t like to keep track of the singles. single eye shadow or blush did not seem very “premium” to me either. Very disappointing. I would have chosen a skincare item so I would be guaranteed at least one skin care. Just got my March box and I like the PMD face cleaner…but I also got a lip liner, cream eye shadow stick and nail polish…yuk

  11. Super disappointed only 2 choices left and nothing I am really interested in the blush or the eye shadow. I chose chose the blush but very disappointed how fast the choices ran out.

    • Same. I just said pick for me bc maybe there will be something else? 😫😫

      • Same! I’m so disappointed in Boxycharm right now! They were on a roll and for me March was a huge miss and now I can’t even do choice for April?? ☹☹☹

  12. How does choice run out? I’m still at work and haven’t chose yet, but am disappointed as people are writing that there are only two choices left. I never thought this was an issue, damn.

  13. I’m annoyed I didn’t get this email. All that’s left is the eyeshadow and blush. :/

    • Me too, some people have to work! Oh well, I just went ahead and said “choose for me” in case they want to send me something else.

      • I wish I had done that. I have no use for the eyeshadow or the blush, but I chose one.

      • Actually, I’m probably going to cancel and snag an Ipsy GBP instead, March and April have not been my cup of tea and I’m tired of not being able to skip just to keep my spot.

    • Boxy doesn’t send emails on choice anymore 🙁 They post the dates on the website now instead.

      It would be nice if they’d just pick a day and make it the same each month… less confusing for sure.

  14. I am so upset….. out of all the things right now I needed a toner and I had to pick the blush instead. This is a huge bummer because I never get things that should be for what I need and I have to pick something that is wasted on the upcoming box. If anyone decides they don’t want the toner please let me know because I will swap. I’m super bummed. 🙁

  15. I chose the toner since its one thing I dont have a ton of and I have never tried anything by the brand yet and have been intrigued. I do not have the option to choose the Kapari just like the picture posted. Does anyone know why? I have severak if the becca blushes and like them but have all the colors that would work for my deeper skin tone already. I really dont wear primer and already have the stilla glitter.

    • I think it just went out quick, it was there when I logged in around 12:30 EST yesterday. (i didn’t pick it but it was an option)

  16. Hoping for either the honeypot or manny MUA. PUR will be my ticket straight to canceling. To be fair I’d actually be ok with it because I dont need 3 beauty boxes a month and I’m defintely bot canceling the box by fashionista.

    • I’m hoping for Manny’s palette too. I have heard good things about his brand in terms of quality. And I like the colors. I have too many Pur palettes, and I don’t have much luck with them so I rarely use them. I’ve also been thinking of cancelling Boxy and switching to Fashionsta or Slay beauty box. But I do like the choice feature and pop up sales that boxy has. But the recent product scandal and their customer service leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I haven’t received my March box yet so I might decide on cancelling based on what I get. I’ve been torn about cancelling, there are things I like, and things I don’t. The only way to get a company to change their business practices is to hit them financially, but I don’t know if enough subscribers can or will cancel to make a difference. Decisions decisions.

      • I agree with all your comments. I’m very torn about doing business with them and have been for a while. My Premium boxes have been terrible so I’m finally ready to let that go but my base box has been way better than it has been in years these past few months so I’m hesitant. So many people feel conflicted for numerous reasons and they seem to have no problem continuing to add not negative practices to the already long list. I think it’s because they know they’re in no danger of losing most subscribers. The way they restrict the number of Premium and Luxe memberships and throw people back on a waitlist if they dare skip a month keeps everyone competing with each other for spots. It’s pretty smart when you think about it because this guarantees that there won’t be a sizable group of people getting together and unsubscribing in protest.

        Other than the better base boxes lately the pop ups and add ons are what mostly keep me subscribed. But truth be told I have a serious subscription and general beauty product addiction I really need to get under control. Those sales have great prices but when you don’t actually need something because you already have five of the same type of item sitting unopened at home, it’s not really much of a bargain. Especially when you purchase a dozen of those great deals every time there’s a sale. I think if I keep reminding myself of this and of the ethical reasons I want to stop doing business with them I might finally be able to break away. It’s not going to be easy though. Especially because I have been a subscriber for probably six years or more.

  17. Earlier, I chose the Becca blush at first but then changed my mind and chose the Kopari. Does anyone know if it allows u to change your choice, thus honoring my latest choice? I chose the Kopari twice just in case.

    • Yes, I’ve been able to go back and change. It doesn’t send a final choice email until a day or two later.

      • And u did in fact receive your final choice? I SURE HOPE SO!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

    • I’m wondering how you had the option to switch for the Kopari if it’s been greyed out as an option since almost the beginning? Did you do it first thing this morning?

    • I’ve changed my mind on choice two different months and each month, I received my final choices!

  18. I’ve cancelled.
    I really like the premium because there really weren’t any variations.
    Now that’s all there is.
    No skin care last month. I know they will not send me honey pot.
    Once again me and boxy just need some time apart.

    • If you pick a skin care item you are more likely to get a skin care heavy box.

  19. I went for the Becca blush. Their highlighters are some of the very best to me, so I have a feeling their blush will perform just as well.

    • Their luminous blush is my favorite!! I’m sad I canceled my premium cause I didn’t like March’s box. I don’t really care for April’s spoilers; except for the blush and toner.

  22. I am not familiar with all the details… Are members able to choose the color if they choose the Becca blush, or is it still randomly chosen?

    • It did not let me select a shade.

    • Unfortunately it didn’t let me select. Hopefully they’re all wearable colors. 🤞🏻
