Third spoiler is out, lip/cheek product. Two color choices.

How do we choose a palette? I didn’t see an option anywhere on the site…. and I’m logged in 🙂 Thanks!

Once you’re logged in, click on “Get the Beauty Box” at the top, then scroll way down until you see the button to choose.

Thanks! 🙂

Turquoise eyeshadow isn’t a must-have for me personally.

Charlotte

So choose one of the other palettes, then.

When the special was running I decided to bite the bullet and try this sub since I’m saying bye to another beauty I’m just plain done with at this point. So far I’m reasonably intrigued. I don’t sub to the lifestyle box so the palette is new to me and yes, totally reminds me of ColourPop. I’m quite interested to see the remaining items. Oh, and I picked Stockholm in case anyone was wondering, lol.

*another beauty SUB (apparently I can’t type tonight)

Nooo thank you lol

I have mixed feelings about the 2nd spoiler from the box being a repeat from the lifestyle box. On the one hand, yeahhhhhhh it sure makes the beauty box look like a way to dump excess stock…. on the other hand, I don’t sub to the lifestyle box, & they’ve definitely had some interesting items I’d like to try.

I picked the Stockholm palette, since I got both the Santorini palette & the Paris palette from an Ipsy offer. I really like the Santorini palette (I haven’t broken into Paris yet, since I already have similar shades in my collection). I definitely recommend Santorini if you love bold shades. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the shimmers do have the tendency to hardpan (which can be fixed with a little scotch tape).

@Marion, to be fair, the palette was actually featured in their Fall / Winter LE box, which cost $95. So it’s actually not a repeat of their regular lifestyle box. It seems reasonable to me that maybe they planned ahead for the debut of their beauty box, which, by the way, is being offered at a much lower price point. Just a thought. I’m actually looking forward to receiving a second palette. Now I can choose different colors!

I am waffling between Paris and Stockholm, myself. Hmmmmm. . .

How do we get to select? I don’t see that option on the website.
Thanks!

My niece will love this palette. One got lucky with the Boxycharm palette and now the other gets one as she loves vibrant colors.. Auntie is keeping the serum and who knows what else.

Okay, I’m intrigued. The Paris palette is beautiful. Are there going to be any more spoilers for March’s box?

I…actually like it. They kinda look like Colourpop palettes, which I’m totally okay with. Colourpop palettes are nice for the price. And I love hyaluronic acid – my .34 oz bottle lasted me for awhile, so this 1 oz is gonna last ages!

Also got this box during their 20% Vday sale at $25.56, so at a minimum of 5 products, each one only has to be worth about $5 to me! Looks like this gamble is gonna pay off 🙂

I would say that the formula (from the Santorini palette) is definitely comparable to ColourPop. The Mavie palettes have twice as much product as an Ipsy 9-pan. (18g vs 9g)

Deborah

Nice. I can get down with Colourpop quality. And I saw your comment above this – thanks for the scotch tape trick!!

TNTriathlete

The only thing that disappoints me about the serum is that from the description on the brand website it appears to be a single size molecule hyaluronic acid serum. Meaning it will only penetrate to a single depth of the skin. (I am extremely sleep deprived so not explaining this well.) Even The Ordinary and The Inkey List have triple size molecule serums that penetrate the surface, mid, and deep layers of the skin. And it’s not a monetary issue. Those serums cost under ten dollars per bottle.

Deborah

Goodness! I need to finally check out The Ordinary too, because they sound fantastic. Thanks for the information – and I liked the explanation! 🙂

Dea

The Ordinary seems to be an amazing source of good quality skincare at reasonable prices. This lover of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C serums needs to look into their stuff!

Emilia

Just as I thought – leftovers.
