Don’t be too dissapointed if you didn’t sub this one. Both the lip samples are TINY like smaller than my pinkie tiny, tiny, tiny. Same with the bronzer, mascara and wipes. The box would be good if any one if these was full or even deluxe but for a $15 sub they need to do better. If I wanted these sample sizes I would sub Ipsy or Sephora. I pay a premium for bigger better stuff and this ain’t it.

There’s always next month. Can’t make everyone happy!

I subscribed mid Feb so I think this will be my first box. I’m excited!

Well, unlike last month, I gotta say this isn’t boring! A very interesting curation, and I see they included at least two new products.

I am having a bit of FOMO, wonder what color the UD Vice Lip Chemistry is… 🧐

Red I bet

Oh, I personally would love a red or a mauve – it’s the nudes I don’t care for.

For whatever reason, Macy’s doesn’t do spoilers for their box until after the box is ready to ship. For me, it’s not a turnoff- I enjoy being surprised. If you can’t take being surprised like this, then Macy’s isn’t the box for you.

I’ve been following this one for a while, and I think I might swap ipsy for this one. Seems like there are more useful things for me, and I enjoy the perfume samples.

Does anyone know if the mascara is full size? I would sub for that.

Cathy

That’s the sample size not full size. 🙂

Jackie

You would get April’s box (not March) if you subscribed today, just FYI.

Rose

I really want to try the Lip Chemistry. I’ve actually subscribed for the first time.

Yay! This looks great! I appreciate a more balanced bag curation this time.

Yes, there are 2 lipstick products, but I love those the most, so I’m happy about it! I just hope I get a berry shade. You don’t always get the one they show in the picture/video.

I don’t use bronzer, but this shade looks tame enough (not orange or mega sparkly) that I can use it as a quick contour (on the sides of my nose) and ‘minimal makeup day’ eyeshadow.

I am closely following this box and it looks good for the price! Particularly like this month….what do others think about the overall value and curation?

I love it! And I’m excited for this box! I’ve dumped every box except for this one and Test Tube New Beauty. I’m a little upset that Test Tube doesn’t have their spoilers up yet though…

I’ve had this box for more than a year. It’s always worth the $15 plus tax, imo. You get name brand (department store type) products (compare that to Ipsy). You get 2 fragrance samples (subjective, but I happen to love perfume, so total win for me–they include men’s, as well, which my husband loves to get gifted from me). You always get a coupon, usually $5 but sometimes $10.

Sometimes the curation is a little boring/flat for people who have tons of makeup products already and aren’t beginners to beauty boxes. But you still find that month is useable, if not super exciting, so your money isn’t wasted.

The main down fall is that you don’t ever get spoilers. They don’t reveal until the end of the month for the following month, and the closing date to sub for that month is always over by the time of the reveal. It’s ALWAYS how they’ve done it. They take sub orders until mid month then close and count the numbers and then provide inventory for that amount to avoid the dreading substitutions and variables, which I actually appreciate.

Sorry that was so long lol : ) For the money, it has a high rate of success. When you have to pick just one or two subs, this is a ‘sure bet.’

Great summary! I agree that it’s way better than Ipsy, but I think Ipsy still has value because they carry products I like that are harder to find (Purlisse comes to mind).

Macy’s can be a bit hit or miss, but it’s also one I refuse to cancel! I love the fun extras we get!

Marcia

Thank you for your great description !

Much appreciate your time and honest observations.

june

Thanks for the replies….you’ve convinced me!

Nat

Love this box! I’ve been a long time subscriber (over a year). Of course I don’t love everything every month (like I will not be using that lash curler since already got one), but overall, I use most of the stuff. This is the only box that I don’t cancel and resub from month to month like I do others based on spoilers. Well, mostly for the fact that I have FOMO and once spoilers are released you are out of luck

I forgot to cancel Macy’s subscription… And I’m glad I forgot cause this looks like a great box🙌👍😊

I just signed up for this sub a couple of weeks ago and so far I’m happy I did. This looks like a great box!

katie

Ugh. I KNEW I should have resubscribed.

March is really cute, excited for this one!

SunnyT

FYI…
Once spoilers are released you do not get the March box if you sign up. You will get the next month (April).
It’s a bummer I know, but I hope it helps.

Judith Acosta

Thanks for the warning. It’s sad, i wanted this box but i won’t suba. I hope they realize this is negative

Vicky

I’m surprised more people don’t like the surprise aspect -it’s something to look forward to. Like a present!!!

Amy

Same – I would have subbed for this box, but haven’t loved all of their past boxes.

Saves me $15 though and I don’t need anything so I guess I’ll count that as a blessing lol

Tiffany Schmidt

If I sign up today I’m not going to get the March box right? Its says April when you go to sign up. I’ve wanted to subscribe so many times but the fact that I won’t get that months box always makes me hold off. I wish they would change that because I’d subscribe today if they did

Kim

Occasionally you can pick up a previous months bag as an on if you shop Macy’s beauty dept online.

Kari Bishop

Dang this is all stuff I really like. Too bad I won’t get March if I sign up now.

Makeup86

This is so much better than the pile of face washes from February.

Reply ButtonReply

Tasha

I saw during the sign up process its April. I guess I still wont subscribe.

Reply ButtonReply

Tasha

If you sign up no do you get this box or April?

Reply ButtonReply

Christina F.

You always get the next month’s box (which I always think are pretty great) not the one that is being spoiled.
