  1. I had to make budget cuts. Birchbox was one of my cuts, and it was my first sub.

  2. Now, now, Birchbox. How about responding to the help desk ticket I opened 5 days ago? You know, the one I had to open through the too-many-hoops web contact form because you disabled the ability to schedule a phone call with one of the nice people who help? *THAT* help desk ticket.

    • It took 2 weeks for a response from my ticket. I recently read that they laid off more than 40 people, so that didn’t help, I’m sure.

      • Thank you Beth for your information! I will give them one more week and I’ll be patient.

        This sounds like the wrong time to start a subscription, though.

        • Update: Got a nice email reply today (after 6 days) from a lovely woman, and she canceled my auto-renew as I had requested.

          Birchbox, you have great employees! It’s the leadership that’s sinking your ship.

          • <3 every Birchbox employee I've interacted with – Great customer service (esp. compared to my experiences w/Ipsy and Boxycharm)! But, ugh, the box's downhill slide and overall disorganization… 🙁
