Margot Elena Discovery Box Spring 2020 – Spoiler #1!

I just found out from them that once I get my spring box, I can no longer do an annual sub, and the only option is seasonal subs. Does this seem weird? Worried that is a sign this sub is on its way out. It’s the only remaining sub I have and I love it.

I love Margot Elena, but was a bit disappointed in the Winter 2019 box. I felt it was underwhelming with no “wow” item.

I’m hoping spring is better!

I was so disappointed with the winter box, it was the first one I didn’t share on social media. I still cannot get over the fact that it was a missed opportunity to make it BETTER than the others since it comes during Christmas. I didn’t like the candle in that box either. I LOVED the fall box! I still have the perfume from the winter box. I do not like it. I like the box better than the perfume. I’m really holding on to my subscription in hopes of textiles and let them eat cake scents? Maybe a candle from that line? I absolutely loved honey and the moon candle from last spring! I haven’t tried too many of the scents. I just always loved the absinthe lip balm. Been buying it for years! What are the best sweet scents (not so much floral)? Does she have powders? I’m burnt out on the linden items. It seems we get something like that every time. Also the bonbon bubble bath smells strange to me.

I have 2 subs so it’s funny to me to see how many people are on the fence about it. I’ve found that a few of the items pay for the cost of the box and the rest is a bonus. If I don’t like something it’s always easily giftable. Although that seldom happens. And I have found that when I like something from there, I really really love it, and it’s better to have a back up. So looks like I’ll be getting two of this candle, LOL. For anyone who wasn’t aware, the Tokyo milk dead sexy line has several fragrances. I really liked this winter perfume but I’ve gotten another that I didn’t like at all in the past, so even if you didn’t like the perfume from the winter box give this one a chance since it’s completely different. 🙂

The Candles are nice, but I was hoping for a more exciting spoiler, like a perfume, her boxes are so nice to receive and open!

This is one of the only sub boxes that I receive and keep everything for myself. A couple other boxes I sub to I usually trade or gift some of it. But this box Is always a win for me!! Can’t wait for more spoilers

It sounds like the notes in this are completely different from the original Dead Sexy which had deep vanilla, exotic wood, white orchid and ebony. The one in the spoiler says it’s Bergamot, black plum, jasmine and white musk. I like the original DS but it looks like there is no crossover at all. Hmm. Still on the fence, probably until I see another spoiler.

I love this boxes candles and size. I love to change candles often. This is my birthday gift this year😍

I EXPECT a candle in the box, I’d be disappointed if there wasn’t one . . . is the spoiler the scent, letting us know more items will have that scent?

I was kind of hoping for a more enticing spoiler, since I’m on the fence. I love all her boxes, but my budget is now tight, so I need something amazing to persyade myself it’s worth months of fun money 😉

Dead Sexy isn’t one of my personal favorite scents, either, tgough it is interesting. More unisex and almost leathery compared to most of her scents. It reminds me of a sort of earthy decomposing log with new plant life growing. I’m liking it better the more I wear it, and I find the perfume is good for layering with sweet ones to add complexity.

Oh love the sound of this! A matching perfume would be even better. Love ME boxes 💗

I do kind of agree with others, though… usually the first spoiler is some kind of full size skincare or “hero” item like the robe or apron. Maybe because this candle is a box exclusive? Idk.

Anyone else hoarding their candles in case the power goes out? I really need to just start using them.

I wish she would send her other full size candles. She has yet to send anything other than the travel tin which are only $8-$12!

Same here. This will be my first box and I’m excited but I hope I won’t be disappointed.

Not super excited about a candle being the first spoiler but the notes sound intriguing and I’m sure I’ll get good use of it.

I like, but not enough to resub.
