IPSY bag contents and ADD ons are available. Just shopped and saw all my bags contents. I picked up another one of each of the serums. I love serums and these had excellent reviews.

So mad at myself I missed choosing this month! I chose for my regular bag but was traveling and completely forgot to look at the Ultimate. I really want the curling wand and will be so mad if I get something else I might just cancel the whole thing. I wish it gave me a notice when I went to the app that day.

I signed up yesterday for the Ultimate and I got no choices available. Anyone have any idea why ? Were the choices only for 1 day? Will I have a chance to pick any items that go in the Ultimate bag? If I signed up yesterday, will I get December or January? Please help

You’ll get January with no choice, and you will have your first choice for your February.

If I’m not mistaken, choice was available on the 19th and through the 20th only. After that Ipsy will make the choice for your bag, you can’t even email them your choice, they’re pretty strict on that, I’ve tried before and they said the system would not allow them to do so.
And from personal experience, you will get the January bag. Once they start offering the choice option, they close billing for current (Dec) bag.
But you should message them still as it could vary from CS rep to CS rep, I don’t know.

Does anyone know If I sign up now will this be my first one or will I get December’s because I don’t want December’s but this one looks good.

This seems like a nice box. The tools are what I expected from Ultimate initially, though I still wish they weren’t dropping the ball on Plus at the expense of it.

FWIW, though I like the pillow spray – I started making my own for 1/8 of the price. You can get essential oil blends for sleep pretty inexpensively and mix with witch hazel and distilled water. I made some in nice bottles as Christmas presents too!

I make my own as well!!! The same ingredients. I control the smell, I use organic. If you are struggling with a head cold try adding wintergreen or peppermint. Helps me breathe when sick.
I also make my own face cleansing oil. Organic grape seed oil (it’s the lightest oil), organic argan oil for vitamin properties and one of the few oils that penetrate the dermis layer and just a touch of organic yang ylang oil for a nice, non allergic smell.

Body wash is the face wash recipe above mixed half and half with dr bribers Castile liquid soap.

I have psoriasis on my legs and I use the face wash I make, on the psoriasis spots in the shower when I first get in. Moisturizing and protects from any irritation from any other product (shampoo or conditioner) inadvertently getting on them and making them itchy. Totally heals the spots.

As I have aged I have become so sensitive to fragrance. Psoriasis on the legs can be triggered by fragrance in hair products rinsed in the shower. The grape seed/argan/ylang ylang convo is not so heavy it oils up the shower but it does protect, especially freshly shaved legs, from flaring.

If you have psoriasis on your legs cut out shampoo completely (use cleansing conditioner) or protect your legs with an oil prior to shampooing. Will work wonders.

Wow thanks for the tips, my god daughter had psoriasis and it always flared up after a shower, now i understand why. ..i will use your method to treat her psoriasis and cut off shampoo and get all natural

Aura Cacia makes a pillow spray called Pillow Potion. It works really well and is a fraction of the price. You can get it from places like Sprouts, Whole Foods, Amazon, Swanson Vitamins etc. The bottle is 2oz and is less than $10. It’s my go to.

Just in case you don’t wind up with the pillow spray in your bag and are needing something natural to help you sleep. Also, Calme’s Forte and Nerve Tonic by Hylands are two other homeopathic remedies that really help a lot.

I used to use Calms Forte all the time, especially as an emergency calmer.

I’ve been having trouble finding it. All the usual places aren’t any more.

I have a small sample of the This Works pillow spray and it does work, though I think it irritates my skin a little.

I wonder what I need to change up in my beauty profile to give me a better chance of getting the pillow spray….

This pillow spray is really good. Ipsy should have released spoilers before they start the choice option imo if they want people to sign up for the bag. I might have considered re-activating my Ultimate should I’ve seen this pillow spray before the choice option. I don’t want to do it now if I can’t make my choice.

A hair tool, a serum, a highlighter stick, a palette, a lippie…5 items everyone will get. This is my first time skipping a month. I do not use pillow spray and I’ve gotten a black eyeliner every month. Maybe next month will be more my speed:)

I agree with you 100% I literally don’t see anything that excites me this month! The bag and the matching hot tools are cute, but those are items I already own, so it’s just worth it to me this month. Definitely skipping! I’d rather save my $50 for a better month.

This is how the ultimate bag should be EVERY month! This selection includes well known & liked brands, beauty tools, a wide variety of color choices and items to please everyone, since they are offering products from so many categories. This gives me more hope for the plus bag.

Its getting better, i believe they are trying..ive had ultimate since the first launch, and i think they’re improving ..it hasn’t been a Wow blew me away type box yet but im a loyal member and have high hopes for better products..i think the gbu bags are pretty nice designs and size. The fact that they are now giving hair tools is a step towards improvement.

Has anyone ever tried Thebalm eyeshadows? How is it? Ive never used that brand and was wondering if its any good like colourpop or violet voss brands..i love those two brands

They are fine, not mind blowing. The pigment is not super intense and I noticed lots of fall out with the ones I’ve gotten. They have pretty mixed reviews. There are more comments on one of the other ipsy choice posts from yesterday.

I chose the mini flat iron. Retails for about $40 on Amazon so that n the bag alone give me my $50 worth of product n the rest is gravy. Nice that the hair tools share the same marbled design as this months bag too. I won’t b pausing. Ill b getting this one this month.
