I joined to get the Winter Welcome box back in late December and still have not received notice of it even shipping.
I also do not care about not being able to choose any items. When this finally arrives, I better be very excited with what I receive or I’m canceling.
I’m already feeling discouraged with it😕

I am so happy, I just got my pkg and its everything, I wanted!! I got the black portfolio and am overjoyed w/ that!! Gold earrings etc. I will probably sell the poncho and brushes, but they are all so beautiful and I love the candle scent (which a friend wanted, so gave to her, lol ). I plan to get the spring one. Oh.. they ARE HEARING YOU!!! 🙂 I had GREAT CUSOMER SERVICE!!! :).. They got back to me, within a wk. So, keep the faith~ :).

Customer Service is Awesome!! This is my first box and I’m really excited about it. I have tons of makeup and wanted something different. I got confused, w/ the added mystery box and thought it’d be the same price (29.99).. lol.. Anyway, I wish I could afford the 199.00 a year, but I’m still looking forward, very much to this box. Customer Service Rocks! They took off the price difference, from the 54, I paid, back to the 29.99. Yay.

Just wish they’d hurry up & ship! Was hoping the winter box I gifted to a friend would arrive by Christmas. Has anybody gotten shipping info yet?

melissa

I ordered this the day it went live for the $29.99 but still have not received shipping info and am starting to get concerned… Liz, do you mind checking to see when they plan to ship the WELCOME boxes? Has anyone received theirs yet? Thanks!

Mary Lomax

My daughter( December 2019) gave me the 4 seasonal boxes and I still haven’t received the 1st one!!!!

Plumeria

I was going to order one and use some of the items as gifts but on the website it says the box won’t ship until January! What a bummer! Last year, I bought the PopSugar winter box and used some of the items individually as gifts.

I have those earrings from a previous Causebox. I love them. The welcome/editors’ boxes are always better in my opinion than the regular subscription. Wait for the in between season.

Alice R

So, when is the Winter box shipping? The regular one that is now ‘sold out’, that we ordered with the BF promo?

Reply ButtonReply

Stella

so, i just bought the annual member with bogo deal, and the choices are: cream blanket/slate blanket/black portfolio/burgundy portfolio, candle or set of mugs, jewlery box or brush, hair vatamin or facial serum, silver or gold earings

Callmeinge

Thanks for sharing!
So it’ll 7 items with the straws & konjac sponge.

MaryJane

Do you get both the blanket and portfolio?

Eileen

Thanks for the update!

Oz

Do we have full spoilers for the regular Winter box? I ordered it at the $29.99 rate and am looking forward to it, but so far this box looks better in my opinion.

I don’t think you get everything shown above in the box. The Winter Welcome box preview shows all items but the sponge as a “choice” item. I think it’s the throw or the portfolio, candle or mugs, jewelry box or brush set, serum or hair vitamin, earrings or straws, and everyone gets a sponge.

Chantel

Yes, you are exactly right, that is what their website shows.

Reply ButtonReply

Didds

I noticed it says choice product on the descriptions but doesn’t say between what.

Reply ButtonReply

amber

This makes sense! I thought that looked like a huge list of items!

Redhed36

Does anyone know if the SCENTUALS ANTI-AGING FACIAL SERUM has been in a previous box? If not I wonder if it will be included in the Winter box since multiple items in the Winter Welcome box are also in seasonal box.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

i really hope so. there’s also speculation about the straws…which isn’t nearly as nice.

Reply ButtonReply

Didds

I would love rose gold straws

Why is it taking them so long to release the final item?

Didds

That’s a good guess. I think there’s still 1 more product that’s a mystery.

Jenny

MSA forgot to post that most of these are choice items… Go on the website and it says so. So basically, half of these you will not be getting – and you can only choose if you are annual. Still kinda sucks.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Exactly, the only reason I did not order the regular box or even the 29.00 deal is because I could not choose – I do not wear earrings and don’t need a face primer corrector… I would LOVE to sub to Causebox but wish they would consider making items such as beauty products or jewelry a choice for regular subscribers – they would get a LOT more subs IMO

Samantha

I almost wish I didn’t order because of the no choice thing. I took the gamble and didn’t get the item I wanted. They sent me the blanket when I live in TX. The part where it’s sometimes 80 degrees in the winter!

Cynthia

If seasonal members get to choose what would be the point in being an annual member? The only reason I bought the annual sub was because I got to choose products and/or colors. If they let those who buy the seasonal box (often for a great discount) choose items, I definitely won’t be renewing my annual sub.

Dani

Absolutely! I completely agree. I’ve been wanting to subscribe forever so finally I took the risk recently because I had a great coupon. But of course I got the gold necklace when I only wear silver and that crappy brush set when I already have a ton of good brushes and even the much cheaper ones are better quality than the ones I received. I would be too embarrassed to even gift those. It’s a good thing I paid far less than full price for that box or I’d have been so mad at myself for chancing it.
I even emailed them immediately after I ordered and told them I would probably upgrade to the annual once I got my first box. I very graciously asked them to please consider just one choice for my first box because I loved that necklace but only wore silver as do all of my family and friends so I couldn’t even gift the gold one. I got a cold, impersonal flat-out refusal. Almost like a stern automated response.

Despite that experience I would still consider re-subbing if they’d let all members pick at least one or two items like FFF does for seasonal customers. I find it a bit ridiculous that they are a charity-centered box but expect everyone to have enough extra money to purchase a year at a time. It just strikes me as a bit incongruous given their mission. Like, “If you can’t spend/donate over $200 at once, just keep your $50.” Because as you said and as basic business logic dictates, they’d have many more subscribers if they let everyone have at least some say. Especially when the 2 or 3 items are so completely different. For example I’d love that jewelry case but I would have no use whatsoever for that serving set or whatever that 3rd possibility was from the latest spoilers.

They should recognize they are one of the pricier subscriptions out there and most people aren’t going to just totally gamble with 80% of a $50+ box and risk paying that much for just a throw blanket or swimsuit cover-up and maybe one other little thing. Plus more and more companies are starting to let all subscribers choose at least one of their items and that strategy has helped retain customers that were otherwise considering taking their business elsewhere. I guarantee Boxy was able to hold on to more subscribers in part because of it.

If they want to offer a 40% off coupon like Oui Please did I will gladly pay upfront for all four boxes at once. But even Oui Please lets their month to month subscribers choose their preferred item/scent/color in every category possible. Oh well. Maybe someday they’ll wise up. I hope so because I really do like so many of their box items and the charitable aspect of their subscription.

Joy B.

Wow this is an awesome box! I’m sorry to be so dense, but the deal here is that you sign up for a Causebox subscription and this is your first box AND you get a free 3 item box in addition? 🙂 Or is this like a one time box you can buy that comes with a free gift? Thank you!

Reply ButtonReply

Chantel

You would be signing up for either seasonal or annual, and the winter welcome box would be your first box. Then the next would be Spring if you do not cancel (if you are seasonal). And yes, you would get the free box with your order if you use that coupon code.

I LOVE causebox, and highly recommend them.

dcmiess

Yeah, I’m also confused on what exactly this means

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

Why is this so much better than the regular winter box? 😂

Reply ButtonReply

Alice R

I’m with you! It’s not. And to get choice, one still has to purchase an annual.

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

Dang – wish I had waited – I like this box WAY better.

Reply ButtonReply

Victoria

Signed up back during the free mystery bundle deal with the winter box but actually wishing I had gotten this deal instead, shoot.

Reply ButtonReply

Christy

OMG, that’s a really nice welcome box.

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

If you have to be annual in order to choose then it’s not that good. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

I agree. Even fabfitfun lets all members customize to a certain extent. I would be much more likely to buy from causebox if they did the same. I’ve passed on many boxes from them because of this. That being said, I really like Causebox.
