They have a promo code on their site today to get the Winter Welcome box for $29.95… But they charged me FULL price!!! I would NEVER have payed full price for this. The price did not display. When I clicked review, I was immediately charged full price. Not happy

I emailed and they applied the offer for me 👌

Now I have a dilemma because they’re offering the Winter Welcome boxes for $29.99 today only. I signed up for a seasonal subscription when the regular winter box was on sale. Then the Winter Welcome box came out with the poncho bundle deal and now I really want that box too! I feel like if I order it I really need to go ahead and sign up for annual so I can choose. Otherwise it’s my luck that I’d end up with duplicates of the throw, mugs, jewelry box and hair vitamin. Or I could use the code and get a $29.99 seasonal box, save a lot of money and take my chances that everything works out and I don’t end up with a lot of duplicate items. With the regular winter box, although I have a preference in every category I’ll be fine if I receive the other item. With the winter welcome box though, I think I’d be way more disappointed if I don’t get my preferred item.

Does anyone know if I were to add an annual subscription to my account, and asked them if I could go back and customize my seasonal winter box, they’d let me do it?

Im waiting to push the “go button” on the annual subscription. Thinking i want to pick my items. Is it worth it to go this route or do quarterly.? any advice out there?

Liz, any word on when the Market items will be shipping? I ordered them 11/15 and it still shows they are “Awaiting shipment “. There’s Christmas presents in those orders. Thanks.

If I didn’t already have all 3 ponchos I would probably be making a new account right now bc this a darn good deal!

I am so excited. I love these ponchos!!! I received one of the gray ponchos in my Causebox last year, and also swapped some things to get a cream one. I tried to get my mitts on a cranberry one, but nothing worked out. I always had a feeling I’d find one, and I opened the post from MSA and literally squealed with delight that we not only would get one, but we could pick the color even with a quarterly purchase.

My Causebox sub ran out after the summer box and I just really didn’t need any of the things in the boxes. That said, the fall and winter boxes looked solid. I’m excited and getting the winter welcome. Whatever I can’t use, I can gift or donate.

Either way, I’m so stinking elated to have the cranberry poncho on its way to me! If you don’t have one, they are so soft and warm. It’s my favorite thing ever from any sub box. I wear mine as a coat or even just lounging around.

Happy holidays!

Wow. That’s an awesome deal for first subscribers! I’m typing this whilst wearing my cranberry shawl. 🙂

I’m on Instagram and have had zero luck!

I signed up for Causebox when the winter box was half off for BTBF but now I want this box too! Can I purchase it under the same account since it’s a different box or do I have to open a new account with a different email address? I’m even considering going annual so I can make selections.

Previously, if you emailed them and asked, they would make it work. I’m tempted to do the same. My annual subscription is ending with the winter box, and I want to see if they will let me add this on.

Is this the same bundle as BOGO code?

As plenty of others have noted, I’m not spending $50 for a box of this or that. They could get so many additional customers if they at least let quarterly subscribers choose 2-3 options in their box. I’m not expecting all choices, as those could be for annual but not having one choice is a no go for me. The blanket alone would get me to subscribe but spending any sort of money with a 25% probability that I would get the blanket I want is too low a figure for me to chance it.

Totally agree! I’ve been wanting to order the winter box from the beginning but I don’t wear earrings, don’t want the corrective primer and I certainly would not want a portfolio in place of the knit blanket… whomever is doing their marketing should change this so seasonals have some choices

Claudia

I completely agree!

Cynthia

As an annual member for the past year and a half, I usually only get to make 2-3 choices. If they start letting seasonal members make 1-2 choices and annual members only get to make an additional choice or two, there will be little interest in becoming an annual member. Especially when seasonal members can get the box for as little as $30. If they are going to let seasonal members choose, I’ll definitely change over to seasonal and save a lot of money.

I was thinking the same. I’m very happy with my anual membership, which is kinda rare for sub boxes nowadays because they always have these new sign up deals. Even for fff, after you can choose 3 items, who really care about the rest… I’m happy how Causebox handles this, also whenever there is a huge discount, I can purchase another box and email them to choose the items. Businesswise I think this is really great.

AH

I agree with this. The ~only~ reason I do an annual is so I get to make choices. As an annual subscriber some quarters I end up with boxes that I really don’t have any interest in; as a quarterly member you can cancel and resub each quarter which gives you the option to not receive a box that you aren’t interested in. (I think technically you are allowed to “pause” an annual, but the time I tried it they ended up messing up and sending the box anyways, and I had a friend tell me you can only do that once anyways.) Quarterly members can also typically get the box at a deeper discount, while annuals are locked in. While I understand the frustration at not being able to pick options, especially when there’s such variation, I think it’s a trade-off—either you pay the money up front to get the ability to select things, while potentially paying more and getting stuck with boxes you don’t like, ~or~ you have the flexibility to cancel and re-up as you want and likely get a discounted rate…but you don’t have choice options. By not giving quarterly subscribers options, they’re strongly encouraging people to buy annuals…but I agree that they’re likely losing customers who don’t want to pay upfront and risk the no options aspect.

Tiina

Exactly.
