Yankee Candle calendar is now on sale, for $20.
Love Yankee Candle but, I only buy when there is a clearance sale and I get the votives, tealights and wax when they are a dollar a piece. This is not worth the value… not even close.
That’s exactly what I do. I buy the votives on clearance for $1.00, each. I’m sure the advent calendar is a nice experience, but the value just isn’t there.

$40 for a dozen tea lights and a dozen votives? No thx Yankee Candle. Am I missing something??
Yeah, this seems like a huge waste of money. Each votive on the website is $2, so 12 is worth $24. A box of 12 tealights is $10, and the votive holders are $8, giving this box a grand total of $42. I’d rather just go in store and pick 12 scents I am guaranteed to like, especially since there’s usually coupons and sales in Yankee Candle stores.
It says day 1 comes with a flickering votive/tea light holder so maybe that adds some value?
It’s on sale for $28 now. I think it’s a great value, especially considering some of these holiday scents sell out. There’s also a cute max melts holiday gift set on sale! Yay!
