  1. Is the mug set microwavable and dish washer safe?

    • Echoing – I keep seeing the question asked about If these are dishwasher and microwave safe And not seeing an answer c

      • I found one answer on FB that cause box answered. They stated mugs are dishwasher safe. It’s frustrating no one is answering the microwave safe question.

  2. I just signed up for the annual membership. I selected my choices and I see that I can order an extra of the mittens/jewelry box/spoons. I clicked order an extra, but I don’t see where it has it confirmed anywhere. I’ve hit it a few times, and still see nothing. Any ideas? Am I going to end up with 82 sets of serving spoons? LOL

    • There’s a shopping cart near the top of the page. Click on it and check out. That’s what worked for me last week.

      • Thanks, Sharon! My computer was not showing it for some reason, but I eventually found it. Thanks, again!

    • If you sign up seasonal can you add an extra item?

      • I ended up figuring it out. You can add additional items, then you have to go to your cart. For some reason, at least on my screen, I could not see the cart icon. I was able to get there through the FAQ (it’s just “/cart” after the website). I ended up not ordering though because you had to spend a certain amount to get free shipping. I hope this helps!

    • Lol!

    • I really needed this laugh this morning. Totally something I would do and then be like wait why do i have all of these serving spoons. HAHAHA love it.

      • LOL glad to make you laugh! When I finally figured it out, I definitely had like 15 sets of serving spoons in there hahaha

  3. I’m excited! I totally don’t need another throw but I always wannnnt another throw! I love the jewelry box and want to try the hair vitamin but I don’t wear earrings and the hair clips are cute but not my style. I’m happy to see these mugs tho! That ups the value for me.

I know CB does things differently than FFF and I think they should do as they like. If they keep getting new customers regardless of keeping customization exclusive to annuals or not then good for them! It’s a gamble they’re willing to make. My ONE problem is that when you don’t let people choose then the items HAVE to be similar in value. An example is the Fall box where the travel wallet was valued at $108 but the letter board was worth only $30!! That’s a 78 dollar difference and seasonals didn’t get to choose! I was seasonal at that time and was praying for the wallet but I ended up with the letter board which is likely going to my niece lol.

Still… even after that I became an annual member… I just like it, man. They got me. Lol.

    • Just an FYI – I got the travel wallet – no way that thing was $108! It’s not exactly an amazing piece. It’s ok… I had no idea it was valued that high. I would have put it in the $30 range for sure!

      • That’s good to know! I wonder if it was a misprint in the magazine! That’s so odd! Thanks for sharing!

      • I laughed when I saw the 100$ value. I like it, don’t get me wrong, but that is absolutely false.

      • The “retail value” is so ridiculous. Who would really pay $108 for a vegan travel wallet? Also, if they make things appear too equal then it takes away much of the incentive to get people to sign up for annual subscriptions. Yes, it is great to customize, but if you feel you are getting as much of a value out of it then maybe it isn’t as important?

      • I got it at Poshmark for $18. I agree, not worth $108.

    • Yes, it was a typo in their little magazine when it said the travel wallet was $108! That was the value of the duffle bag.

    • Hey Jeanne—I know exactly what you mean…but I actually preferred the letterboard over the wallet and my adolescent grand-daughters are having a blast with it! I’m really disappointed that by the time I received notice of the sale the pale blue packing cubes were already sold-out—they would have matched the duffel I got. I went ahead and purchased the annual membership also—hope it’s not a mistake. But what is really griping me is that for some reason I don’t stay signed into website—I’ve contacted them numerous times to get that fixed but none of their responses were effective.

  4. I love that they are giving us a set of mugs, not just one. While I wasn’t initially fond of this box, I’m definitely coming around. I don’t find any of the items particularly exciting, but the fact that so far, I’ll use everything in this box is exciting in itself.

  5. I definitely find the selections of choice items in CB weird, too! It makes sense to me if it’s something like “receive a surprise blanket pattern” or “get one of these three kitchen products” but…clothing OR a jewelry box OR a kitchen item just feels too random!

That said, I totally realize I’m a hypocrite, since if they just billed it as “mystery item” i’d for sure be happy with any of those choices haha

  6. So I really want the jewelry box and those gold spoons. They are available for purchase in the add on shop. I’m not an annual subscriber so I don’t get to pick which one I’ll get or if I’ll get the gloves. Is there any way to know which one they’ll pick because I’ll purchase both items. I just don’t want duplicates. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    • Nope you don’t know til you open your box

  7. On an unrelated note: What kind of marshmallows are those? They different but really yummy.

    • Their fb page stated the marshmallows were homemade in-house and they would be sharing the recipe later this season. 🙂

    • They look homemade!

  8. Does anyone know if this will arrive before Christmas?

  9. This box was already a huge win for me but the mugs just threw it over the top! Personally, I do not need anymore mugs but these are just so pretty I cannot wait to get them.

    • I agree, Crystal. I’m also happy we get both mugs instead of just one. Awesome box all the way around for me.

  10. I am genuinely curious, am I misunderstanding or does the description of those (extremely cute) mugs say they are “custom shaped”? What does that mean? I love them regardless and would love to get them, I’m just wondering what that means exactly? Any ideas? This box looks wonderful to me! 🙂

    • Will this arrive before Christmas?

    • My guess would be that they’re hand molded and might have imperfections ?

  11. Great seasonal feeling box.

  12. This is shaping up to be another great box. I am enjoying literally every item from my fall box and I’m really looking forward to the winter box.

    • I loved it too! No duds.

  13. Does anyone know how many total items will be in this box?

  14. I refuse to sign up if I can’t choose between three totally different and unrelated items – ridiculous! FFF lets season subscribers choose, I wonder why Causebox doesn’t. They would have had a customer if it weren’t for that.

    • You can choose items as an annual Causebox members, also you can purchase the mittens/jewelry box/serving spoons for additional $15.

    • Causebox isn’t FFF. You must understand that different boxes have different business practices. I’m sure Causebox is doing just fine without you, since they sell out every season. Hope your day gets better

      • I agree! Different boxes have different policies. This is my second year with Causebox and I love it!!!!

      • Lol.

    • Agreed – it’s bad enough when the items are similar but I hate how CB frequently has two TOTALLY different items for annuals to decide between. I won’t sign up because of this.

      • Umm… pretty sure this is the first time they have done something like this?

    • I agree with you Kay. I would have totally signed up if I could at the very least choose between the jewelry box, utensils or mittens. But I’m not subscribing for an entire year just to have those choices. I’ll try my luck on the swap site or eBay 😛

  15. Yes, they are now quite a few quarterly subs, which I love!

  16. This is probably the first box where I’ve liked every single spoiler and would be happy with any of the choices. I’ve been eyeing Causebox FOREVER and this got me to finally sign up!

  17. Man, even if I had more customization, what a lame box. I love the jewelry box. A blanket is always nice and like the hair vitamins but for 60 bucks almost this is not worth it. And especially because I can’t even choose. At least I don’t have FOMO from skipping this one

  18. Can someone confirm if only Annual members are able to make selections?

    • Hi Latoya! Customization is only available for annual members. Hope that helps!

      • Got it, thank you!

  19. I’m holding out for better than black friday. I’m hoping there will be a discount

  20. So pretty!!! Hopefully they offer a discount for BTBF.

  21. I wish they would post the size of the mugs! Hopefully it’s at least 14 oz.

    • I’d like to know if dishwasher and microwave safe!

      • Good point!

      • I would like to also know?

      • Still awaiting info if microwave safe

    • Judging by the proportions compared to the hands, I’d guess it’s your standard 12 oz. mug. But I agree, jumbo mugs always and forever.

  22. Those are cute! This is such a perfect winter box, this winter has been a great season for many quarterly subscriptions this year!

    • I agree. I know that a lot of subbers are tired of blankets/throws, but I just can’t get enough of them (sure beats the scarf trend of the last few years – right now I have enough scarves from boxes to open a boutique). I think boxes have realized that there are lots of options out there for subscribers so they have to up their game.
