Allure Beauty Box December 2019 Spoiler #2 + Coupon!

I’ve been wanting to try ABH products for a while now so I’m pretty excited about this. I’ve never used highlighters in those colors before but I’m pretty pale so I think I could pull it off with a light application. And I’m in loooove with those lipsticks. People keep saying ‘oh, no one can wear those colors’ but I actually dye my hair a dark wine-like purple-red color which flatters my skin and brings out my eyes so those will look great on me.

the moonchild ABH is vegan.

Many ABH eyeshadows have carmine, a dye from bugs. I might unsubscribe. The lippy are way too goth for me too. Allure usully has at least one if not three vegan items each month. I might email them requesting to add a “prefer vegan/natural/organic/clean” tag on my profile. I am on an every other month, cancell and resub when something vegan is featured I want to try.
I don’t need anymore makeup anyway. I wish companies would stop using carmine, it is not cruelty free and it is literally bug blood.

I just did a survey for allure and at the end it showed these and a full size brow gel. Most likely the clear one. So that’s the third item

Maybe I’m in the minority here, and I do understand not everyone can be pleased, but I wish it was a just a nice bright, Christmas-like red. I just ordered an indie lipstick in red with some sparkles. Reds and pinks are my thing. I always get the nudes, browns or darker colors. There’s nothing wrong with those, but I suppose that happens with variations. The highlight would just be an eyelid wash. I’m curious what the other items are. Those two I won’t use, so may cancel for December and see what January brings. Loved this month’s box, though! 🙂

As a subscription newbie, I’m sad I missed Allure boxes from earlier this year! I wish there was a way to still purchase those boxes instead. I want to subscribe but I wouldn’t use these products and I don’t have a lot so I’m willing to try a lot but these seem more fitting for a teen or young adult.

If I subscribe today, will I get Nov or Dec box? Does anyone know?

I love Anastasia liquid lipstick! I don’t have either of these colors, so that’s a bonus. Amazing box for December!

Oh wow, I think this is the first one I will have to cancel in over 2 years. I’m not picky usually but highlighter for anyone over a certain age is just not good…highlights every tiny wrinkle ever. And that lipstick is the final nail in the coffin. I’m with the person who said this is a vampires and unicorns box.

Of the two lip colors, hoping for “Trust Issues” (because I do have them), but either will do.

I hope this is matte. My mother loves dark lipstick. So she gets all my dark lip stuff… I use highlighter for my eyes also when I’m in a hurry and I think every time I get ready I’m in a hurry lol. I found one I got from ipsy and I am loving it right now. I never get someone saying your face looks good. But I do when I wear this highlighter palette by huda . I wear it as it says. I put the cream on my eyes and on my dark spots. It really helps!!

Works for me! Allure always goes above and beyond! In my opinion no need to complain, this is more then worth our money! And the awesome thing about this box is that they don’t try and keep sending us all those repeats; and call the box a deluxe (smile), as always if you have ONE item or two you don’t like, share with your BFFs! Kudos to Allure this LONG time subscriber is very appreciate and can’t wait to get my December box! Bring on the fabulousness (*_*)

Pretty much the test of the year, beauty boxes have bright ass red or pink colors.

So I think y’all will survive 2 boxes of darker lipstick that everyone else can actually wear lol

My daughter loves mascara, but I’m thinking she might want this highlight palette for a little eyelid “wash” or whatnot. Not even sure on that yet, lol, but was wondering your ladies’ thoughts on that? She would not be into even normal eye shadow I was at her age (14), so I’m wondering…. as I know it’s a highlighter palette, decent for an eyelid wash? I ask ’cause in a way, I want to bond with her on that. She’s into lip glosses and we have that thoroughly covered. LOL. Thanks. 🙂

These spoilers are giving me life right now. I am glad I forgot to cancel this subscription last month. I am in for December. I am skipping Ipsy so this will be nice.

I cancelled a couple of months ago. I think I will resubscribe in December. Winter is coming so I could use a darker lipstick and the palette looks good. Not colors I would normally use but still would like to try more of her Abh stuff. Her dip brow is bomb.

i actually unsubbed after the oct box. felt allurebox was just a way for brands to get rid of unwanted/unpopular stock. so many anastasia liquid lipsticks have been given alrdy and they are notorious for their more-drying-than-most formula. i initially subbed as they seemed to offer new products and launches.
