Ordered this box on a whim, and it was lovely to receive. I like the unifying theme, and the presentation – from the art to the packaging – is very nice. I set aside the dream catcher, pillow spray, and sleeping mask as my stocking stuffers, (as the mom of three young children, I have to stuff it, or my littles will wonder why). I am enjoying the night oil, and I am *loving* the blanket. I have not used one before receiving this box, and I have used it every night this week, and I have never slept better. My husband travels five days per week, but when he is home on the weekends he gets hot very easily, so I love that it is plenty large enough to cover me even when I move around at night, but just small enough to not completely cover my husband’s side of the bed as well. I also like that it came in its own original packaging separate from the decorative box holding the other contents. It feels substantial in its own right instead of feeling like a cheaper version another blanket (as seems to happen so often with items in other subscription boxes), and if someone did not want to use it, it could easily be placed in a guest room closet for guests to use or added into a group gift exchange during the holidays. I understand why this box is not exciting for everyone, but for me it is perfection. In my opinion this is the best subscription box of the season.

This is such a great box. When I first saw the spoilers on here I didn’t think that I would like it. I received my box yesterday, and I love this box. The weighted blanket is so nice and is not child size. The weighted blanket and Luna sleep oil already makes up the price of the box. The pillow spray is nice. I haven’t tried the hair repair, but that’s worth $50. The only item I’m not crazy about is the dream catcher. It’s not something that I want or need. However, it’s made by Navajo Indians, so I support it.

That’s awesome to hear, Angel!

This box and the last box have just not been exciting for me. Oh well, hope the next one is great!

I can’t justify the price or need for this box – I’ll just buy Luna oil separate and save money – for $95.00 I’d expect two full size SR products and one of them not being a pillow spray 🙄

Cat

Too bad I won’t ever trust a SR product again.

I agree. I can’t complete the FTC lawsuit didn’t make bigger news sadly

If the blanket is small, I’m super happy to give it to my dog. He will love it! 😂

I don’t get where the blanket pricing is coming from. First of all, a 5lb blanket is pretty much useless for adults. Second, if it’s 48×72″ and only 5lb, how is the value $67? A 48×72″ 15lb blanket is $64.99 (and on sale for $54.99 on top of that) on the brand’s website.

I’ve been looking at weighted blankets for a while now and I love my slip mask, but this box seems very fishy to me.

Cat

Sounds about as fishy as their fake Sephora reviews.

A dreamcatcher? Eyeroll.

😂🤣 lol rolls eyes @ dream catcher made me laugh – thinking the same

Meg

Same!

JackieCupcake

I thought the same thing, but the artist is Navajo so I am willing to give them props for that.

Meh, it’s better than a non-native, I guess, but Navajo did’t traditionally use dreamcatchers. Ojibwa Lakota did/do. Just a little fyi 🙂

Lorraine

While I am very excited about the weighted blanket, how does it make sense for them to price the 5 lb 48 x 72 (dimensions based on SR response) blanket at $67 when the 12 lb blanket with the same dimensions costs $60 (or $50 with the sale price) on the website?

I was honestly so interesting in the SR sub box but I refuse to support a company that uses deceptive practices on their customers. They aren’t getting anymore of my money

As soon as I ordered one of their box sets and found the bottles were painted to look full, while inside there was tiny plastic bags with 1/4 the size of product, I knew they were scandalous. I thought I’d give them one more try and bought another set, no plastic bags this time but the amount of product did not match up to the size of the container again. If they put Good Genes and the Vitamin C in clear bottles they’d go out of business.( Not to mention CEO Glow has suxh thick glass it’s also deceptive) It’s a shame because I liked them… although after a while I noticed the product didn’t seem to work as well as my first experience.

I’m not privy to this – please share. I prefer to support a brand that’s honest and transparent

You can Google it and the issues will pop up quickly because there was a ruling on the case earlier this week.

Daria

I agree 100%.

Nice to know about the blanket not being kid size. I hope it is adult size or they give out the dimensions.. sleep is vital and this box looks great.. wonder if my husband would get mad lol if I have something else come in the mail

I posted this on the spoiler page but it’s probably good to re-post here:

I emailed SR about the size of the blanket a couple of days ago and just received the following response,

“The blanket in the upcoming subscription box is 48 x 72, and was custom made for us by the manufacturer. We hope this helps- please let us know if you have any further questions or if we can assist you with managing your subscription or placing an order.”

Hope this helps.

Cary san

That works for me cuz I’m 5 foot. Thanks for the dimensions.

Stephanie

Unless you weigh 50 pounds this blanket would not be of any use. Weighted blankets are 1lb for every persons 10lbs.

Danielle Nelson

That’s the recommendation but people like different things. If I were to get a weighted blanket that actually corresponded to my weight, it would have to be 35 lbs. Frankly the 20 lb one I have is more than enough.

Linda

Yes, I’m just hoping for a nice throw blanket. I don’t care about it being weighted. So to me 5 pounds is plenty. I don’t need a 25 pound weight laying on me.
I always liked down comforters cause they are warm and don’t weigh much.
