The November 2019 Pearlesque Box will feature Native Atlas!

Toxin-free skincare has always been a passion of owner Alexia’s career as an esthetician even before it was any sort of a trend. After more than a decade of experience, the potential chemical overload in the most unsuspecting products on the market became evident. Alexia mixed up her own personal beauty remedies and she started incorporating them into her treatments. From there it began and her clients wanted to take home with them the products that made their skin feel so good. Native Atlas became an extension of the treatments they were receiving. Her desire is that people fall in love with taking care of their skin again.⁣

Alexia is passionate about making toxin-free products the new industry standard. Essential oils and essential fatty acids play a vital role in our everyday life. Our health is dependent on the nutrients we absorb. There is a need for transparency on our labels now more than ever. ⁣

  1. This box is mighty tempting, but I’m trying REALLY HARD to not purchase any subs in November & December, unless the contents or the brand is something I’ve been coveting for a while. I’ve seen Native Atlas around and have been intrigued, and the products in the box so far look great, so if it was any other month, I’d have purchased this month’s box right when I saw the this post. 🙂

  2. I have been cutting down on subs over the past few months; I cut Boxy, Margot Elena, Allure, and others. I may start doing this instead of Ipsy GBP, because all I ever want from them is skin care…hmmmmm…

  3. Guess the last item will be Maisha LIVING BEAUTY OIL…

  4. I would never put something with essential oils on my face.

    • Why?

      • They can be quite irritating for some people with sensitive skin.

    • I make my own organic skincare, and have used essential oils in them for years. The very purpose of EOs is to give the inherent benefits of each plant such as healing, hydration, regeneration, balancing, tone… etc.. Where some people go wrong with them is putting them directly on the skin, or using too high a percentage. They are concentrated and should never comprise more than 5% in total of the oil/butter/moisturizer they are mixed in to. Additionally, these products have whole oils or distillates in them, not EOs. Distillates can actually be used directly on the skin or as a water replacement in skincare, whereas EOs cannot.

I struggled through not only my teens, but also my twenties and early thirties with oily combination skin and redness all over (I started wearing foundation when I was 12 to try to cover the redness!). Then I switched from commercial moisturizers that inhibit skin’s natural processes to pure oils. That made a drastic change in my skin’s texture, appearance, and health. Eventually, I began to mix in EOs after much research on their properties and benefits. My skin has only improved.

Truly, I am so excited for Pearlesque’s Autumn boxes. These are the best sub boxes I have seen of any company all year! I hope it continues through winter.
