I really, really want to try this brand, but I just ordered the new Pearlesque box. I’ll also have Beauty Heroes on the way soon, so it will probably depend on what they send. Can only use so many moisturizers, unfortunately. 🙁

Although I love African Botanics, I was not impressed with the October mask. But I am excited for this box, even though I have combo skin. It still gets “dehydrated” so this is going to be yes for upstate NY harsh winters!

Really? I’m the exact opposite. I thought it was going to be terrible but it actually worked AMAZINGLY well on my skin. After one use my skin was plump and bouncy… I did sleep with it on overnight and even my husband (usually oblivious) noticed my skin. I joked that it must have baby stem cells in it or something because it worked that well. Sorry it didn’t work for you!

Charlotte, I just starting using the trio we received over the span of time. I noticed immediately that I cannot use the oil for more than 2 days in a row. I seem very sensitive to any kind of retinal/retinol but wasn’t expecting it in this. I guess this holds true across all brands for me. But the mask I felt an immediate tingling and tightening and after 45 minutes, I thought I can’t kepi this on all night but I waited another 20 minutes before I didn’t notice it on my face. I thought my skin looked stunning in the morning. After the negative and meh reviews I was not expecting anything so I was surprised to say the least. I am loving this December box as well and I may close the year on Boxwalla. I have the Earthwise Yasuni balm so interesting to compare. I will be always watching the page but will be traveling quite a bit in 2020 and sadly, can’t see how I will manager subscriptions before things settle back down in May. Any old excuse to stockpile, huh? lol But that body oil… winter is coming…

I’m so relieved not to be super tempted by this box for once. It’s normally very hard for me to resist but that balm looks a bit too greasy for my face. I have combo skin that leans dry more and more every winter but I typically don’t like the way balms feel on my face. I’m probably just using too much but they make me desperately want to wash my face not long after application.
