Their Calendars are notoriously bad. Easy pass. Sephora does have a ton of potential like someone said. Geez… just take 25 of the better samples from 5 Play boxes, throw them in some pretty cardboard and make a decent one… even make it 50 bucks.. the cost of 5 play boxes. That, I would probably buy.

seriously. they know what we want, we rate/review everything & mark what we love/want with a heart. they have access to an impressive array of deluxe samples that could get us hooked on new products & bring them a massive surge in profits. instead, they deliberately ignore all of that, including the overwhelming amount of 1 star reviews on their advent calendars each & every year. i could throw together something far more impressive using the overflowing stash of deluxe samples i have, thrown into an ornament divider box with a print out of a gingerbread house glued on the outside.
…i really should do something like that for gifts this year. i need the space back.

That is so clever! I wish I wasn’t so lazy 🙁 LOL

Free with a $5 purchase. Maybe. Depending on what the $5 item is at least…

Who is saying this is perfect! Sell it for 45?! Come on Sephora, you have so much potential. I’m disappointed.

Luna

Slightly off topic, but yesterday I noticed a new “Coming Soon” graphic for Play Luxe. Hopefully, this next one won’t sell out in minutes!

tammy g.

this looks like stuff left over from last year..

Cindy

Hard pass!

Yeah this is just sad. Anyone can see that it is worth $20-25 at best.

Melissa

Adorable! Could make a nice gift for a teenager.

Oja

Hard pass. For $3 less you could get the give me more lip set with a full size Charlotte Tilbury and a bunch of other name branded things that all look better than this.

Miranda

Pass for me too. Looks like a bunch of old left over stuff. Would maybe be good fortounger kids just getting into makeup. But at that price that’s a definite no for me.

Jill M

Cute but nope! Not for me. Filled with Sephora branded products. The only thing I like fr their brand is the lip Glosses.

I was expecting this to have brands like farmacy and milk and huda that I’m excited about in it; I see all Sephora products and realize it’s not worth $45 for this.

Luna

I always wished that Sephora would do like a mega “favorites” kit but in advent calendar form for the holidays.

Nicole

They would have been better off charging double the price and including high end brands that they sell in store. Who’s the brain child that came up with this idea?

Iggy'sRock

Ugh, Sephora hasn’t figured out marketing. Supply and demand.

AmyM

This is arguably better than last year’s disaster, but still not great.

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

To be fair, Edsel was less of a disaster than last year’s poor excuse for a Sephora advent calendar.

Anne

You mean you don’t want to open up the day’s present and find one qtip (I mean, sponge applicator)?

Lisa

LOL Edsel….

Alyssa Balmas

What a waste of money.

Rena

With some of the high end advent calendar deals you’re getting at least a 75% discount on quality products, with this one you’re not even getting a 50% discount and it’s their own brand! Even the one that’s still sitting there on sale from last year isn’t worth the SALE price!

Tammy

$45 for that? You can make a one-time purchase of a wonderful subscription box to give as a gift, for around the same price or even less.

April

I like advent calendars and also get to try out the Sephora play for free.

TAT2

This screams desperate last minute Christmas gift.

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

This is an instant no for me.

Reply ButtonReply

RubyWooWhoo

Nopity, nope, nope!

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

$45 for this??? Wow. Going to end up on clearance like last’s year which is still sitting there

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

What a ripoff!

Reply ButtonReply

Irina

That needs utilization, not selling

JustJese

Who knew that Sephora evoked thoughts of melting shower jellies….
Well this is certainly better than last year’s…. but same issue. WHy are there not more full sized items if this is their own brand?

Jeannie Goodman

Yes pelqse
