We are so proud to support incredible, independent female artists each season through the design of our box artwork and the rest of our seasonal art pieces. It brings us so much inspiration and joy, and we wanted to take it even further, so we built a residency program. Every season we invite the artist behind the box to our hometown Los Angeles, for 10 days. We eat, drink, and explore the city with her, and we have a chance to get to know her on a personal level, explore her artwork and process more deeply, and learn from her unique perspective. For Fall, we spent an intimate week with Minerva visiting famous landmarks like the Hollywood sign, picnicking in the sun, and watching outdoor movies on a rooftop! We were first drawn to the ​vibrant scenery in Minerva’s work and the diversity amongst the women she creates​. She is passionate about bringing joy through her free-spirited illustrations and wishes to motivate marginalized women to strike their own path. Her designs for the Fall CAUSEBOX tell the story of a woman traveling the world, creating a union between all the cities, cultures, and characters on her journey.

  1. Just checking, has anyone who ordered from the Causebox Market gotten their order? I ordered $64 worth of items from the shop, got charged on my credit card, but haven’t heard anything about the order. I got my fall box a month ago and none of the items from the market shipped with it. I tried emailed customer service with no response.

    • Yes, I got my order a couple of weeks ago. I ordered in August, so it took longer than the longest estimate on their website, but I got it. My experience with their customer service has always been good. I suspect that rolling out the marketplace at the same time as their quarterly box put them behind. I’m sure in time, it will get better, or they will offer the marketplace items at off season times.

      • I’ll try contacting them again. I was trying to be patient but it makes me nervous if others received their orders already, especially since I was already charged!

      • Yes, I was charged in August, when I placed my order. I wasn’t worried, since they have always done right by me, but was curious when I would receive it.

    • Hi, Kelly. I received my marketplace order on October 4 via FedEx Home Delivery. I hope you receive yours soon.

I didn’t buy the annual subscription and i got an olive green bag, gold necklace and travel wallet. love my box, i try to limit myself to one box every 3 months because i honestly don’t have room in my apartment for all the stuff and I’m glad i spent 50 dollars on this and not ipsy ultimate or fab fit fun, which i would probably give as a gift to someone older but def not for me

    • I get all three, ultimate was the biggest let down. FFF Fall Edit box was really good if you like beauty heavy boxes. I would love to love this box if they’d ever give it to me. 😬

  3. Does anyone want to swap something for the green bag? I got it in my box and would rather have something else!!

  4. Well my box still hasn’t shipped and I purchased on 9/21. I purchased the annual sub and still have the ability to customize my options which means (to me) it’s no where near shipping. If it’s getting ready to ship you’d think they would have locked my customization page, right? I’m considering asking them to cancel my annual and asking for a refund and if not disputing it on my card. This is ridiculous.

    • I’ve had issues with shipping from Causebox in the past. Try emailing CS and saying that if they can’t provide a shipping notice at this time, that you would like a refund. They reply with tracking info every time.

      Also, I called them out on instagram this weekend for not getting my market order. I listed the items and brands I ordered. Nashelle was all over that and reached out of Causebox on my behalf, so that’s another possible tactic. Though I did feel kind of bad that Nashelle’s CS had to deal with Causebox’s issues. I’m totally buying something from them directly in the future though.

      • Thanks! The things I go through for a duffel bag. Lol

      • My scarf and earrings arrived today, and I have to say that they were worth the wait. The scarf is beautiful, with a gorgeous shimmer. The earrings are larger than thought, with some texture to them. I’m really happy.

      • Is the scarf in the shop? I didn’t see that in the spoilers. I don’t have access to it, not sure why.

      • Yes. My order was a market order. The market closed the first week of September. I got lucky this season and seemed to be one of the first to get their box, but my market order took forever. I waited 2 months for my box before though.

    • I’m still waiting and I ordered in AUGUST 🙁 I’m starting to get seriously annoyed. I contacted customer service yesterday, haven’t heard anything yet though.

      • I emailed them last week and they responded within a couple days and this is what they said;

        “Thank you so much for checking in. First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for the delayed response! I can assure you that you have not been overlooked! We have had an influx in customer responses over the past few days, and although we are trying our best to keep up, it is taking us a bit longer than usual to respond.

        As you placed your order after September 10th, as per the expected timeline, your order will be shipping out in early-mid October. Be on the lookout for tracking information coming soon!

        According to our standard shipping timelines, your CAUSEBOX may take anywhere from 2-8 business days to arrive following the date of shipment. Please note, however, shipments to PO Box addresses in Canada may take 3-4 weeks longer.

        As soon as your CAUSEBOX has shipped, we will send a shipping confirmation to the email address associated with your account so you are able to track your order, as well as view your expected delivery date.

        For regular updates on current shipping timelines throughout each season, visit your SUBSCRIPTIONS AND ORDERS page of your account, when logged in. Under ‘My Subscriptions’ you will be able to view the most recent shipping status of the corresponding subscription for that season. Once your order has shipped, you will be able to directly access your tracking link for delivery.

        Should you have any further questions at this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out!”

  5. Really getting sick of waiting for this box to ship. It’s been a long time since I paid for this. I ordered RZBOS yesterday. It shipped out today. It total BS that it can’t be done. I may stop subbing to this & FFF for that reason!

  6. Finally got my box today. I would have preferred the blue duffel but got the striped. No big deal, actually. Nothing was broken and all the glass items were bubble wrapped which I liked. Got the letterpress rather than the wallet. Was going to be a gift either way so no problem. The box is good; shipping delays not so much.

  7. Was so excited to open my box today, but I didn’t luck out to get any of the choices I was hoping for. Ended up with the green bag, gold necklace and passport holder. Oh well, can’t win them all!

    • I was hoping to get the passport holder and the green bag. I wind up getting the striped bag and the letterboard. Is there a swap board on here?

      • Yes, there is a swaps group. Go to the top of this page and click on Swaps. if you dont yet have access, I believe they are allowing new sign ups now!

  8. If anyone is still waiting for shipping this came come their website. I swear it’s stated differently than it was before October 1st when they updated the my subscriptions page.

    “The Fall CAUSEBOX began shipping in mid-late September. We currently expect all orders (including renewing member orders) placed prior to September 11, 2019 to ship out by the end of the first two weeks of October. Orders placed on or after September 11, 2019 will ship out soon thereafter! Be on the lookout for a shipping confirmation email or check back on this page to see if your box has shipped. We will continue to release more updates about the Fall shipping timelines — stay tuned!”

    • Yeah, that’s a new update. I saw the old message earlier today. Disappointing.

  9. I made two market place purchases and the first one was finally shipped today! Yay!

    • Mine finally shipped too. I don’t mind waiting longer for a good deal BUT causebox didn’t tell me it would take up to five weeks to SHIP until AFTER they took my money. And it did take almost five weeks. It will be 6 before I actually receive anything.

      • They were never up front about the shipping policies for the Market Place. I didn’t realize there would be such a delay until I checked the FAQs. Mine, sadly, hasn’t shipped yet, but should ship by Thursday if it’s to ship within 5 weeks.

      • Mine hasn’t shipped yet and has been over 5 weeks :-(. I emailed them first thing Monday (when it was already just over 5 weeks) asking for an update as nothing has shipped (market or my box) and they haven’t responded at all. I was trying again after the shipping problems with the kimono, but I’m not sure it’s worth it again…

      • I order Sept 30. Sent them an email on Friday. I got a response saying my box shipped, right before I got a shipment email, last night. Here’s hoping the same happens to you!

      • Still awaiting shipment. So now I’m just requesting a refund. I really like the scarf and earrings I ordered, but I’ll happily put that $50 toward something else if shipping them is too difficult.

  10. I got my box today. Love everything, REALLY wanted the passport holder but got the letterboard. Up to trade but if not I may use for my craft room.

  11. Got my box today! Love everything! Was hoping for the passport wallet but got the letter board because I have several from other boxes but I’ll just gift it. The candle smells great. Fave box from them so far.

  12. This is so annoying. I ordered and paid Sept 6. And I am still in awaiting shipment status as of today Oct. 1.

    • I ordered on Sept. 1st and am still waiting on shipping as well, as well as my marketplace purchases 🙁

    I hope everyone gets their Fall box and orders soon. The Fall box is worth the wait.

  14. Today is the last day of September and my box still hasn’t been shipped. Very disappointed with Causebox. I was going to give the makeup brush set to a friend as one of her bday presents in early October. Guess that’s not happening.

  15. Do we know if there’s a reason for the shipping delay? I am a new member that pre-ordered this box but my status has been “Awaiting shipment” for the past several weeks. It sounds like I’m not the only one experiencing this, and I don’t see a phone number I can use to contact them.

    • CauseBox tends to take a little longer than most to ship. They ship in batches and it can take well over a month, even two, between the first batch and the last. Customer service will get back to you via email if you shoot them a message.

      • They do get back to you promptly but their reply never really gives a true answer to the question. “When will my box ship/arrive?”

        Basically said “You will know when we send you a shipping email.”

        Not really an answer IMHO.

        I am new to this subscription. And, honestly, having a delay of one month between the first shipments and the last is unacceptable.

  16. I quit fabfitfun because it took so long to ship. No shipping notice in sight for this. Maybe sub boxes aren’t for me.

  19. C’mon! Ship already!!!! I asked them and they said I would be in the early shipments for those who ordered prior to September 10. Annoyed I am seeing others have received their boxes and I don’t even have a shipping notice!

    First world problems, I know, but I am going to be travelling soon….. GRRRR!

      • I ordered after September 10th so mine may not ship till the first part of Oct. As long as I don’t get the, sorry but we are out of… I can wait. I subbed solely for the striped bag, and an annual sub so I could pick.

      • No one;s box shipped in early October! As far as I can tell, they did not begin shipping until a few days ago. I got a ship notice but the box didn’t move for quite a while (and still isn’t coming until next week).

        Sorry, Causebox…a September box should arrive in September.

    • I ordered and paid on the 6th of Sept and I’m still in awaiting shipment status as well….

    • I’m in Montana, too, and mine shipped late yesterday afternoon.

  23. I received my box a week ago and absolutely love it. I have a question to see if anyone knows. I purchased some add on products and they took my money out probably three weeks ago and those items have not shipped. Has anyone else had this experience?

    • In their FAQ, it says it could take up to 5 weeks to ship.
