I was going to swap for points, but then I realized that I wouldn’t get the cool box. So a curated box it is. BTW, 2 or 3 of the curated boxes are already sold out.

I just went there and I got the button “Choose your box experience” and when I clicked it I got the message “Box Customization is Currently Closed” – WHAT???? I tried it in a different web browser and got the same thing.

I emailed them and sent a Facebook message, and waited an hour with no response,. I finally got some help after I commented on one of their posts about customization. They “refreshed” my account and I was able to customize, but the curly kit and 2 of the boxes (2 and 4) were already gone. I picked box #3, Ingredient Conscious, although I may change my mind and swap for points.

Well, this will be my first month without Birchbox. It was my first subscription and my last to cancel before getting down to three: Beautyfix, Ipsy, and Tribe. I will be down to two soon: Beautyfix and Ipsy. Thanks to subscription boxes, I’ve found the products I love and I don’t want to spend any more money on things I truly don’t need. Thank you for the wonderful intro, Birchbox, and I’ll be back to your shop to visit when I need my favorites!

They were my first box too, several years ago. And while I’ve gone on breaks from them, I’ve never given them up completely till now. September was the last month. Just got tired of tiny samples and so many hair products that I’ll never use. But I’m glad for the introduction. They got me started into the world of subs, and from there, into so many things I’d never tried. Like primers and setting sprays because for whatever reason, I had never bought those before. All in all, I’m down to three as well (probably soon two) BoxyCharm/Luxe, Ipsy GBP (for now), and rotating between Scentbox and Scent Bird depending on the month (possibly also just for now).

The lipstick Queen is right up my ally! So, box #4 it is.

I am new. September will be my 1st which will be just random stuff they selected. It’s on the way and I just picked for October. I chose Box 2

Tiffany

FYI-the option numbers on this post are not the same as the options on the Birchbox site. I chose #4 which is ingredient conscious on the Birchbox site and all made up here.

I signed in at 630 am and the curl kit was gone!

Anita

I was very disappointed also! I have curly hair and was looking forward to that one. I don’t even like the other curated choices so I will be surprised next month

Pamela

Ugh, I wanted to get the box for curly hair and it’s sold out 😭

I’d love to swap for the Lake & Skye 11 11 Eau de Parfum!

For those interested in Box 4, I’ve personally found that Eyeko Brow pen to have a weird greenish undertone, & that “method in the madness” line to pull very brownish (even the “berry” one was muted & muddy on me).

I chose box 4… I’m a makeup junkie above all else! The curls kit intrigued me but I just picked up the smooth hair kit during the CAD sale so I’m good on hair products at the moment. Also, I want to make sure I get the adorable Halloween box!

Anna

I went with box 2 as I will use everything in it. Those juicy tubes by Lancôme are great.

Marion

I also picked Box 2. I’ve never tried Juicy Tubes, & I tend to love R+Co stuff. The only thing I won’t use is the Vasanti. I think I’ve gotten that from Birchbox 2 times already & swapped it away both times.

I went to choose and realized that my 1.5yr sub was done and I’m okay with that. I am down to five subs now and I’m pretty proud of myself.

Alice

Agree. Proud of myself, too. I’m down to three for Oct., then two.

#4!
