I used the “Josh” mask and it reminds me of Mahalo Bean. I even got the same mask breakout. Initially I felt a tiny heat but it dried down and so did warmth. I definitely enjoyed and we will see if it becomes as favored as his other mask. This box is such a win for me only the Laurel is anew brand for me and I love adding these specific products to my active using collection.

I absolutely LOVE this subscription! BUT just a little sad since I have had the last three of the items previously and they don’t work for me. BUT I do get to try that mask and the sun serum so maybe it isn’t a total wash for me. I feel like such a debbie downer lol.. BUT my sub renews end of September and there is no doubt that I will keep it going, it’s just THAT good of a box. lol
Anyone know if I can opt out of two categories with this sub? Luna? lol
I absolutely do not want a box of supplements or entire hair care boxes….

Hi Carey! As far as I know, you can’t opt out of categories since the products are set (I’ve never seen variations before with BH). The good news is they’ve never featured, and I highly doubt will ever do, a supplement’s brand as part of their monthly subscription. I think they know they’d get way too much heat for that. Lol! They got railroaded when they featured an all makeup box back in 2016, so I think that’s why they mainly try to stick in the skincare & body care arena with the maybe once per year hair care box thrown in and stick to LE boxes for other genres of beauty. Also, another piece of good news is that they already featured a hair care brand this year (Tabitha James in February), so I think you’re safe for the rest of this year. 😉
If you’re already subscribed, I don’t believe you can see spoilers before your box has shipped, and I’m not sure they have a skip option if you email them (before your box ships & spoilers are out) to prevent not getting what you want, then un-skipping if you happen to like the spoilers. September is the last box in my sub too, and I’m just going to hold out in re-subbing until I see something I just NEED to have! 😉

I just figured out that you cannot see spoilers before being billed for the following month. My plan is to cancel immediately after shipment and then resubscribe with the same account for the next month I want. I have a monthly subscription. Is this poor etiquette or frowned upon somehow?

Hi Luna! Thanks a bunch! I forgot about the tabitha Hair care that went out, I did get a free hair oil from that brand when I first signed up which of course wasnt for me! lol
I thought I had seen a supplement box but I guess it was from one of the other three I keep tabs on: Boxwalla, clean art and detox box. 🙂 My jam is skincare so the more of that I can get the better! lol
Any other suggestions for these types of boxes that I didn’t mention above? I’m favoring this type of sub these days over the likes of birchbox and even Mintd which is nice but never enough stuff I love sadly. lol

This is the final month of my 3-month sub that I recently cancelled and I’m so happy it’s going out with a bang! I saw the email this morning, and since I had just woken up I first thought this was a LE box, then I was a bit bummed since I had cancelled my sub so I wouldn’t save 15% (but I would still have purchased it 😉 ), then when I noticed it was going to be a monthly box for some reason I thought it was going to be October’s box since it said to sub by 9/20 (for some reason I was thinking that was the cutoff to sub for October’s box), so I thought, “dang it BH, you got me for another 3 months” lol, so now that I see MSA’s post that it’s the September’s box and I’m starting to “come to” and it all makes sense now I’m now thinking, “woo-hoo!” 😀
I’m so excited to give the JR cacao mask & Lilfox eye serum another go. I accidentally held on to the JR mask for longer than I should have last time, so it dried out a bit. It was still useable once I added a toner or essence to it, but it’ll be nice to experience it while it’s fresh. And, I’m really looking forward to trying the other products too!
