Nike has launched a new subscription service for kids - Nike Adventure Club! You can subscribe for a monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly delivery of the Nike or Converse shoes of your choice. This subscription is currently in waitlist mode.
Each shipment includes a pair of shoes and an Adventure Kit:
The Adventure Kit contains the activities and gear that inspires and empowers kids to move, play, and explore. Scout, Blue, Noodle, Pepper and Ollie share their adventures and encourage your kids to join in and create their own adventures with family and friends.
Keeping shoes out of landfills protects the future of play. Twice a year, we ship you a prepaid bag for you to send back your worn out shoes, which we'll recycle through Nike Grind. And if the shoes are in good enough condition, we'll refurbish and donate them to families in need.

I’m surprised by all the negative responses. Have I missed something? I remember all the sweatshop issues in the 90s but is it still ongoing?

If only there was a search engine that could tell you exactly what you want to know. Hmmmm.

$60 per pair, NO. The price is very reasonable, but I actually spend more then $100 on pair of good running shoes, but without trying on, feeling how it fits, I would say no. Plus, I can shop around and find similar or cheaper past season shoes.
I truly miss Adidas box. I love how they included new just released shoes, bags, sunglasses with workout outfit. I want Adidas back !!!

No, They renamed easy kicks and was disappointed by their treatment to founding charter members when they changed pricing/plans.

I want to sign up for this and check it out! Getting on the waitlist. Seems like a great deal! If you don’t review it, I gladly will for you!

Nope! This isn’t a sample or bargain box, it’s just pushing you to buy only Nike, because why would you buy anything else when you have Nikes coming in the mail? Great gimmick to ensure customer loyalty but you can buy all those at Ross, TJ-max Burlington Coat Factory etc. do we need to teach our kids they need a new pair of shoes each month? If it’s free why not but don’t pay for it as well as ethical issues with production and our global warming it’s a no for me.

I’m going to go political and plead that you not review this box. They can’t say they “empower” kids but after ALL the exposure still hire children at less that $1 an hour to make these overpriced shoes.
Please. No.

$20 per month for 4 pairs of shoes…. so $60 per pair? This would be an easy pass for me, as we can find Nike or Converse shoes for much much less at the outlet mall.

Great idea and responsibly priced but I cant hoard the stockpile of shoes i’d receive I have no room for them. Cant wait to see the reviews of this box though. I wish Adidas box would come back.

With this sub, they will send you a prepaid box to ship back old shoes 2x a year and they will recycle or if in good shape they will clean up and donate.
