The Beauty Report Box is a limited edition box from NewBeauty that is usually released once a quarter. It features some of the favorite brands included in the summer issue of Beauty Report, and all of the products have won an award of some kind. If you aren’t familiar, The Beauty Report is a part of the NewBeauty Test Tube brand, which MSA readers voted one of the Best Beauty Subscription Boxes of 2019! (This is a single-purchase box and will not start a subscription.)
FYI - this is a review of the Anti-Aging All-Stars Awards box, which is still available for purchase.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

NewBeauty Awards "Anti-Aging All-Stars" Box Review
Here is the info sheet for the products included.
AQUIS 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash, 3.4 oz - Estimated Value $8.22 (Buy the 12 oz version for $29)
This is a pretty innovative concept, and I am a fan. You spray it into dry hair and let it sit for at least two minutes before jumping in the shower, and the blend of coconut oil, keratin, and amino acids work to strengthen your hair and prevent breakage, which is more likely to occur when your hair is wet. I am not sure if this lives up to its promises, but it is a simple enough addition to my shower routine that using it consistently isn't an issue.
Biossance Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Facial, 0.5 oz - Retail Value $28
I am a little bummed that this is the travel size rather than the full size, and that is just because I love both Biossance and squalane! If you have ever tried Babyfacial by Drunk Elephant, this is a pretty similar product in that it has a high glycolic acid percentage to exfoliate skin and leave it smooth and soft. The recommended time to leave on is 3-10 minutes, and this product is strong enough that you really should only use it once a week at the most. I liked it, and a small amount went a long way- I can easily get at least four applications out of this jar.
Jergens Skin Firming Neck & Chest Revitalizing Cream SPF 15, 2 oz - Retail Value $10.99
I have been trying and failing to get in the habit of applying a neck cream every morning, but I have been having moderate success with this one because I love SPF! This was rich but still sank into my skin with ease, and I like that it has ingredients like niacinamide and glycerin in addition to the sunscreen.
Le Mieux Iso-Cell Recovery Solution, 6 oz - Full-Size! Retail Value $28
This toner is made with 8 different minerals and amino acids, and I love when toners come in spray bottles like this one for an even application. Misting it on my face after cleansing but before applying serums, lotions, and potions is quick and easy, and my skin feels hydrated and balanced after using.
Pacifica Pollution Fight Blue Algae Urban Defense Facial Mask - Retail Value $4
Pacifica has such pretty packaging, and I would love to see more skincare products from them pop up in subscription boxes. This has great ingredients like kelp, blue algae, and chlorella, and my skin felt great after using it and I felt like I had a glow. My only complaint is that this mask was a bit narrow and didn't reach to my jawline completely, but the eye holes were in the shape of hearts!
Patchology FlashPatch Illuminating Eye Gels, 1 pair – Estimated Value $3 (Buy a pack of five pairs for $15)
I love Patchology! These eye gels are made with green tea and vitamin C to help with dark circles, and I find them incredibly cooling and comforting to wear. Eye gels are one of my favorite self-care rituals, so while you only have to leave these on for five minutes to get the benefits, I leave them on for much longer.
Paul Mitchell Platinum Blonde Toning Spray, 5.1 fl oz - Full-Size! Retail Value $19
This is the one item in the box that was a miss for me since my hair is dye-free and naturally dark brown, but this won the NewBeauty award for Best Brass Buster! While I can't speak to its brass-busting abilities, it was lightweight and nourishing as a leave-in conditioner.
RoC Retinol Correxion Max Daily Hydration Crème Fragrance-Free, 1.7 oz - Full-Size! Retail Value $27.49
If you are new to retinol, please, please, PLEASE make sure to use sunscreen (even though you should be wearing sunscreen every day anyway, but I digress). Retinol works by promoting cell turnover, and as a result, your skin is more sensitive to the sun. Retinol can also be very drying, so I was pleased that this cream definitely felt deeply nourishing- perfect for mature skin!
Supersmile Extra White Professional Whitening Toothpaste in Triple Mint, 7 oz - Listed Value $50, (Buy the 4.2 oz version in other flavors for $23 here)
I am pretty offended that this is a $50 toothpaste, and I am even more offended that I noticed white teeth after one use of this toothpaste. Granted, this is a jumbo size that can only be purchased in a set found here, and I can see that there is truth to their claim that in a clinical trial every user noticed whiter teeth after one use. It'll be a while before $50 toothpaste will be in my budget (if it ever is), but this large container will definitely last me a while.
Vital Proteins Mocha Collagen Creamer, 11.2 oz - Full-Size! Retail Value $29
I wanted to love this- the regular Vital Proteins collagen powder is a great mix-in to my morning yogurt for a protein boost, and I thought this coconut mocha flavor would be tasty with my coconut yogurt since I don't drink coffee. Alas, this dairy-free creamer doesn't mix well with cold liquids, so I will be passing this along to a health-conscious coffee-loving friend. Two scoops of this creamer are one serving, and the serving contains 10 grams of collagen protein and 140 calories.
Weleda Skin Food Body Butter, 5 oz - Full-Size! Retail Value $18.99
This is a shea and cocoa butter based body butter, and while it has fragrance on the ingredients list to my nose this is unscented. This has a thick texture out of the jar that melts upon contact with your skin, and this left my legs soft and smooth.
The Verdict: I have been looking forward to the Beauty Awards box ever since last year's, and while I was a little bummed that they chose to offer two boxes rather than one mega box, overall I am still pretty pleased with both the value and the items included. Including brands like Vital Proteins, Biossnace, and Supersmile really won me over, and all of the products will be used or given to very appreciative friends. I calculated a total value of $226.69, which is more than quadruple the cost of the box.
