I really want the highlight, but I’m scared it will arrive shattered. A couple of months ago, we got Rodeo Drive, and it came shattered. I sent CS a pic, and they sent me another, but it was shattered too. I gave up after that.
Really good rewards, and I can’t decide!
Redeemed for the ouai scrub. I’ve been wanting to try a scalp scrub so I’m pretty happy!
That scrub is great – I got it a few months ago in my bag and loved it, so I redeemed my points for it as well! Hope you like it too.
I haven’t received the reward I ordered more than a month ago. I wish they would ship my GBP instead of just creating a label and letting it sit
I would redeem for the Belle en Argent gloss, but apparently now you’re not allowed to redeem points if your bag is paused. Eyeroll. None of the spoilers for next month appeal, and I’m sure not paying $10 for the “privilege” of redeeming points I *earned*. (I guess now I have the answer as to why I never received that Billion Dollar Brows brush I redeemed two months ago, and still have my points – I paused for May, too. Way to communicate, Ipsy.)
I agree that they should communicate, somehow make it known when you redeem the item that your account will need to be active for them to send the item. However, I can totally see why they are not going to pay a seperate shipping charge to send you your free “points” item. It’s not just the cost of mailing either, they have to pay someone to pick and package your free item…someone who could otherwise be serving a customer that paid to get their box/bag that month. It’s wasted resources for a points item and not smart business. I do think if an item is redeemed and the customer pauses, they should just reinstate your points for the next item you may be interested in. I’m just really not surprised they won’t mail them separately, nor do I think it’s poor customer service that they won’t.
I redeemed for an item once and then paused my GBP, and the points were immediately returned to my account. I just redeemed them on my regular bag. I didn’t have any issues with that. I completely agree with you about everything you said. I would never expect that they would waste money and resources to send out a points redemption “free” item. Even Sephora doesn’t let you redeem points without a purchase.
Hey, that’s the mascara that Tati likes 🙂
What a bummer. My order auto cancelled because you have to be active in both regular Ipsy and the plus bag. My plus bag is paused. I did not know this. So basically if I don’t cancel one of them I can never redeem.
That is weird!!!!!!!!! And not nice.
I still got my rewards when paused for GBP. When you’re on the main page, make sure you’re on the “un-paused” bag before going to redeem. You should be able to, as long as you’re receiving one or the other.
