Now I’m curious how you are supposed to do it. I usually do SPF first under my makeup, unless it’s a spray, then I would do it last. Does it matter to be effective?

These poor people still can’t get it right… Sunscreen is the FIRST step in the routine, not the LAST step. Additionally, I just got an email from them saying “We Are Prepping Your Box
Your selected choice + 4 personalized samples.” I thought they moved to a six-product box (not a total of five products). Apparently it did not occur to anyone there to tell the website people to change “4” to “5” in the text. Really easy programming change. (Cue my Southern lady voice:) Bless their hearts.

It would be last in skincare, as the general rule of thumb is to go from thinnest to thickest product. (Not always the case, but when in doubt)

I have never seen any skin care advice article saying sunscreen is the first step. I’ve always seen it as the final step.

How can you put sunscreen lotion over foundation? Over powder? Over blush? You put it on a bare face, then do your makeup routine.
