I got the glow serum in my regular Birchbox a few months ago and it dried up and was unusable after being used only once. I tried using it again less than a week later. Either this is really old product or it has an exceptionally short shelf life. I don’t recommend.

I had that glow serum from a regular Birchbox several months ago and it literally dried up after being used once. Either this is old product or it has an obscenely short shelf life.

Why would I pay $35.00 for samples ? I got a great skincare box on BF for same price .. SMH

I only signed back up with Birchbox in February, & I’ve already gotten 3 of these as samples. I don’t think this kit is worth it.
The Peek palette, which is the big ticket item, was one of the ipsy shopper deals a few months ago.

The palette was also in the most recent fabfitfun edit sale. I don’t remember the exact price, but it was heavily discounted there too. I can’t say this box is worth it as well if that’s considered the big ticket item.

Am I crazy? Are any of these actually exclusive to Birchbox?

The LOC is, I think, one of Birchbox’s in-house brands. The Wander lip oil might be– I looked to see if Sephora had it, but they didn’t when I checked. (And there isn’t a darn thing exclusive about that Eyeko liner.)
Mostly, I think that some companies have a very loose meaning of “exclusive.” I have always thought “exclusive” should mean “you can only buy this here, nowhere else, including the brand’s own site” but I’m getting pretty tired of Sephora and Ulta “exclusives” that I can buy direct from the company that made them.

(Adding to clarify: I mean that the Wander lip oil might be an exclusive BB product, not that the whole line is exclusive.)
