I was so disappointed I missed getting last year’s kit. It sold out so quickly and it was so early I thought for sure they’d restock. But this one doesn’t interest me. Not at this price point anyway. I am religious about sunscreen but I already own or have tried almost every product in this set. Personally I prefer they include new spf lip products or other makeup, haircare, or skincare products that include sunscreen as a bonus (ex. eyeshadow with spf) and an after sun item or two, preferably most products including sunscreen only that are new to the market.

I agree! Nothing new or special in this kit.

Any idea what the estimated RV is on this?

Its value is $114. Keep in mind that the values on these kits are typically based on the retail value of the minis and not their breakdown value when compared to their full size price.

I am not as excited as I have been in previous years, but I will still buy it because I do every year and well I live in Arizona and well sunscreen is always needed

Why does the headline say available but online it is not ?

Marion you don’t need to be nasty about it , that was a rude comment . I misunderstood it !

Want & need this as I can never have enough sunscreen. I apply it multiple times a day to face, neck, décolletage & hands.

I still have most of last year’s kit unopened and it doesn’t expire until Fall or even next year so I’m going to focus on using that up.
I’ll probably pass on this unless it’s available during the sale.
I have been really disappointed in most of the newer Sephora Favorites sets. The prices keep rising and the samples are getting smaller.

It’s sold out. I think it was available online on Friday, but by Saturday morning it was sold out.

Never mind. On Friday they had a different one online with a full size St Tropez but it sold out before I could hit purchase. It’s still in my cart but says out of stock. Wonder if it was a glitch.

I was able to purchase, but afterwards realized it was the 2017. Now I am not sure what I am getting or if I get anything at all.

I tried to add a comment earlier stating the bag you saw Friday was the Sun Safety kit from 2017 and therefore was likely expired. The comment was not added so I am trying again

I saw that one; FYI it was from 2017!!! I thought the products must be expired.

I went to the store and bought this yesterday. I sadly missed last years sun safety kit, so I’ve been checking to see when this was available. I honestly would say that it is not worth the money. I regret purchasing it, but at least part of the money is going to a good cause. The products are so tiny and there are fewer items than there has been in the past. But the bag is a good size and cute.

I feel like this year is not as impressive as past years. I will pass this time. Could still be a good deal for someone who hasn’t tried most of these already.

That’s a nice box but I don’t need all that sunscreen 👀 wish they couldn’t of offered more variety of products

At first I was like what?? it’s called SUN SAFETY and sunscreen would make sense. However, part of that is safe tanning and I would like to see some self tanner samples or maybe post sun products.

What kinds of products besides SPF would you like to see in a Sun Safety Kit?

How about something like this? Check out onechangebracelets.org
This not for profit makes bracelets that let you know when UV rays are present and are educating about sun safety. It would really be a perfect match for this box!

Personally, I’d love a lip balm with some sunscreen that’s NOT the Fresh one. It’s a great lip balm, but it melts so easily that taking it to the beach/pool/whatever is impossible. I saw the Coola setting spray and the Murad Invisiblur that a lot of people use as a primer (it’s great if you don’t mind a silicone primer), but I wouldn’t hate more SPF based makeup, too. A more lotion style primer, or a translucent powder with SPF (like those ones that you apply with a brush on the go) would be awesome.
If there had been one full sized item, I probably would have purchased this, but a bag full of minis doesn’t feel as worth it, even if it adds up monetarily.

Personally, I enjoy when they include a post-sun body cream or recovery/type face mask. A haircare product would also be nice, such as Sachajuan, Sun Bum or Living Proof, that is made specifically to protect hair/ scalp from sun damage.
Also, in the past they included a product or two for self-tanning, which seems way safer than a UV tan.

Pale skinned GA girl here, bring on the sunscreen!
