So I am getting 4 samples of hair products?! I hate getting hair products in boxes and I told them that when they were allowing us to drop a type of item from the box. I do not need another shampoo/ conditioner or a dry shampoo.

As a matter of fact, it looks like I received all three sample choices. I sincerely hope that this is all a mistake.

Worst box ever.

I am so pumped! I chose the Luna night oil and costumer service confirmed I am getting:

• Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
• Love of Color Liquid Shimmer Shadow
• Marcelle City Multi-Protection Tinted Cream SPF 25
• OUAI Volume Spray – Travel-Size
• PETER THOMAS ROTH Potent-C™ Bright & Plump Moisturizer
• Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil – 1.18

Hi ladies! I signed up on March 24th and cancelled today. Will I still get the order I placed? It let me choose for April, which made me think I was getting the April box, but, when I cancelled l, my choice went away, so I’m thinking that April would be box 2 and that’s why it went away? Can anyone confirm that I should get the March (or any) box? TIA

Does anyone know if we will get 6 items in our box if we choose a sample and mystery items? Or just 5?

Camilla

It’s 6! I asked costumer service the same thing and after choosing the Luna night oil I am getting these amazing items:

• Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
• Love of Color Liquid Shimmer Shadow
• Marcelle City Multi-Protection Tinted Cream SPF 25
• OUAI Volume Spray – Travel-Size
• PETER THOMAS ROTH Potent-C™ Bright & Plump Moisturizer
• Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil – 1.18

I believe it will still be 6 items altogether. My email said something like choose a sample choice and we’ll pick the other 5 items.

Birchbox is out of stock of Box#2 already. Box #1 is still available though.

Bianca

Does anyone know the size of the Luna oil? Can’t decide to go with that and the rest random or the curated #1

Dawn

The Luna is pretty small… it is the rounded bottle, not the larger square sample size. No larger than .17 oz

Luna

I checked the samples I have of this size out of curiosity, and they were .17oz. Still a decent sized sample imo to get a decent “feel” of the product. 🙂

Luna

My guess is that it’s .17oz…. maybe .25oz. I have samples this size so I’ll try to remember to check when I get home, and I’ll post its size to confirm if I don’t see it posted here already. 🙂

So I texted Birchbox, they replied saying the Luna oil is .17 oz if anyone else was curious to know the size for sure!

Lori

I don’t, but I know it’s quite small, like maybe .34 oz. That said, a little goes a long way.

Anyone have an opinion on the the odds that the Luna oil will still be available tomorrow?

Aloholora

Thanks everyone! I didn’t realize I hadn’t subscribed to this thread! I appreciate the responses:] luna oil was still available! Hope you all got what you wanted too!

Dawn

It is TINY…. .17 oz. I went with the curated since I love Kiehl’s and have not tried that product yet. And I stockpile mascara.

Samantha

they sell out? why would they advertise it as a sample choice if it’s not a choice?

Reply ButtonReply

Emma

They can sell out, yes. Remember that aces get to do their selections a day early.

TC

They sell out Fast! I couldn’t get the Curated box last month, they all sold out on Ace’s day!

Melissa

Yes, sometimes they run out of the sample choice or the curated box. I don’t know why. Perhaps they only allocate a certain number that can be used as samples that month. That being said, I haven’t seen them run out of samples in a while. I think they have had fewer subscribers ever since they quit their point system. ACES get to choose a sample or box a day earlier than everyone else, so it is possible for a popular sample to run out before sample selection time opens to everyone the next day.

Nikkim

I will keep an eye on future boxes but at the price of allure, I’m going to wait it out and see what people get.

Stephanie

I already received my deep sleep pillow spray and tin candle so I’m pretty happy with BB.

Reply ButtonReply

Heather

Did they ship separately from your March box?

Reply ButtonReply

Jodi

Wander beauty for me when I can select tomorrow but curated box #2 is tempting.

Reply ButtonReply

Mimi

I thought I was the only one who like those choices. Box 2 don’t get talked about much in the comments. Still can’t decide between the wander lip oil and box 2

Reply ButtonReply

Jodi

I picked the lip oil, although there’s an oil in box #2, I like Wander Beauty in general so here’s to getting surprised with the rest of the samples this month!

Becca

I caved and resubscribed. I was a member all the way from the beginning (when you had to wait list and be invited lol). Just had to pay the $15 a month but the boxes look better than I remember. I’m going for the smashbox, oribe curated one. Plus I got to add a pair of bombas socks as a free gift which I think is a better deal than the lipstick queen. I’ve been wanting to try those socks for ages!

Luna

I caved and got the Luna oil which I originally said I wasn’t going to do since I already have quite a few samples of it. I was originally going to pick the Wander lip oil, but after thinking about it I haven’t had much luck with lip oils being very moisturizing on my lips as I always have to apply a balm afterward. I’d be happy though if I still ended up getting it as a mystery sample item in my box!

Lori

I chose it, too, even though I’d probably use the LP styler extender more, especially now that I’m using the SR A+ retinol with no issues. But I’m kinda crossing my fingers I get the LP, too, haha. The Luna just feels like a better value.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I think that’s why I chose it too! Sometimes my brain leans towards the better value than wanting to try something new or something I’d get the most use out of. haha! It all balances out in the end. 🙂

Jackie

Luna for Luna 🙂
