I Purchased the Jet-a-Porter set last night. Over the years I have bought several of these sets and have never been disappointed. They are packaged beautifully and every item in the box of high-quality. That said, they seem to be sending more sample sizes versus in the beginning when there would be fewer items but many of the ones in the box would be full-size. I believe my first box was $55 although I do not remember the items in it it was a great value! It would be nice if they what cut back in quantity of items and just send a few full-size and deluxe samples.

Mary, you can search for Liz’s review on past Net-a-porter holiday boxes. I remember one time it had Oribe full size shampoo and conditioner plus lots of other goodies that were full size for $100. I prefer fewer full size items to lots of little samples. I wish they would go back to how it was. Of course, for jet-a-porter, it’s has to be TSA compliant so I would understand the smaller sizes.
They used to sell out fast and now, they are on sale so that goes to show you how most of use feel.

I didn’t get the advent calendar but I purchased both of the other two when they first came out. I didn’t love everything but still think they’re worth it especially at a discount.

I may go for one of these. I don’t think complaints about the sizes of the items is legitimate – they are not foil packets and I’m sure if the math was done, it would very evident that the value is present for the price paid – given you have a use/desire for the products.

I purchased the calendar at 30% off and was pretty disappointed. Most of the box felt like free samples and the few that were larger sizes were items that I was not that interested in. It seems that the Net-a-Porter bags in the last few years have declined. I must not be the only one that feels this way as they are still available and marked down.
Thanks for this. I wasn’t sure of the product sizes – I think I’ll hold off on buying this.
