  2. Hey does anybody know the cutoff date for this box? Like when is the last day you can order it?

  3. I really don’t like vegan leather. It just seems like a marketing ploy for plastic or some other cheap material that is not leather

    • Lol. That’s what I think every time I see “vegan leather” in these boxes. I respect that some people would prefer not to use animal products and are glad not to receive them in beauty boxes. But let’s call it what it is, “pleather!”

  4. I’d suggest exercising caution with this box if you are thinking about ordering an annual subscription. I purchased an annual because of the ability to customize and ability to pause and not receive a particular box if you didn’t like the spoilers. I had one box remaining, and chose to pause the Winter box. I emailed CS, and they responded to confirm that my box would be paused. Several days before I left town for an extended period of time, the box that was supposed to be paused, arrived to my house. I emailed them; they responded after I left town saying that even though it was their fault that they mistakenly sent the box, I needed to return it to them, or else I would not receive the 1 box that I had remaining. I explained that due to my being away for an extended period of time, and their not responding to me in a timely manner before I left, it would be difficult for me to return the box in a timely manner because I am away. (Also of note…legally, if a company makes a mistake and sends you something you didn’t order, it is yours to keep…legally you are not required to return it.) Their response was basically “too bad so sad”…either return the box they mistakenly sent or they wouldn’t send the final box that I should have left on my subscription had they not messed up and sent the box they weren’t supposed to send. They are supposedly sending me a return label, but haven’t done so; but I can’t even return this at this point due to being away from home where the box is…and to be honest, after their mistake and the way they handled this situation, I do not even feel confident that if I do return the box to them, that they will correctly credit my account. So I either keep the box that I didn’t customize/didn’t want, and don’t get the remaining box I should be due, or go to the hassle of getting the box back to them (if they ever even send the label they promised) and risk that I still don’t get the next box due to their confusion. Pretty frustrating options given that this was all due to their mistake…

    • The customer service is not really a customer service. I accidentally ordered an annual subscription and was told “ That time has come and gone.”
      Cause Box accidentally sent me a men’s box. I received an email kindly asking me to return it. I did. I am guessing when the cause is your fault and you explain why; basically you are told to BUG OFF. When they made a mistake PLEASE HELP US.
      I think the company should remember how you got where u r; and how you can stay where you are.

  6. I actually came onto MSA today to get the code for $15 off the Winter box. I didn’t read that it was just for yesterday. I subscribed to Causebox before but cancelled when the spoilers came out for the Winter box. I love this box which was my first “big” box. I think I’ll up to an annual with this box.

    • I’ve received October Jaipur and Paper Source Stationary in past boxes and really enjoyed both products. I carry my Oct Jaipur tote every day with a clutch inside. I just grab the clutch out when I duck into a store or restaurant.

      One of my 2019 resolutions is to send more heartfelt notes to people who inspire me. The stationary set is perfect!

      • I love that! There’s still something so special about receiving handwritten notes in the mail. I think I’ll try to do that more this year too.

  7. Me too dag nabbit! I bought the last box trying to get a clutch. If anyone has a clutch to swap it would be most appreciated (my swap link is here on my name.)

  8. If you didn’t get the fall or winter boxes, this would be a great box. Underneath the first picture the author wrote ‘fall welcome box’, this is the winter welcome box.

  9. Well, okay, that’s a bummer.

    I recently signed up for my first Causebox with the Winter box. (the regular one, not the welcome one here.) I’m REALLY slow to sign up for new boxes these days so it was kind of a big deal for me. I only like about half of what’s in it, but the things I like I LOVE.

    Well this box is better. It replaced one of the things I don’t care for (the Matr Boomie – just doesn’t work with my style) with something I do like (the clutch.) AND I like the print waaay better in blue. AND they added a scrub? I love scrubs!

    Dag nabbit.

    At least I saved $15.
