I don’t know. These boxes l look good, but I think I have lost my lust for Target at the moment. I have not bought a box for 3 months now and that in itself is a feat. That said, I did buy the Dermstore box and am truly looking forward to that one! What a deal!

For those that missed out on the Dermstore box at Target, you can get it on Dermstore’s site too! Search “Best of Dermstore Holiday Kit”. 🙂

Oh great. Thank you so much Luna. Been looking for it on target website and it’s gone. Will order it now though Dermstore. You’re an angel.

Luna

Yay! I’m glad you were able to get a box! 🙂

JuJu

Once again, my comments from this morning never posted. It’s been 7 hours.

I just came from my Target and all the boxes were there. They are excluded from buy 3 skincare items for the $5 gift card. I had an employee check for me.

I got the Dermstore bag today! Very happy with it and how quickly it shipped! I need to figure out the RV for it but wow! Very impressed! That is the only one that interested me out of all of these.

Kay

I don’t get mine until Saturday! Did it come with any coupons for Target or Dermstore??

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

No, no coupons.

Connie Tran

How are these any different than the monthly boxes in terms of product sizes to be charging more?! The sizes look too small for those prices!

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

It’s probably just the time of year that’s making them more expensive, and how they’re being marketed. Target probably figures people would want to get them as gifts.

Michelle

I saw all these in store yesterday and there were many of each. I suspect that will will not change as these are waaay too expensive. Then I went to Ulta and was blown away with all the Christmas offerings they have this year. I don’t know why MSA never promotes them but if you haven’t been in an Ulta lately I highly recommend you go check it out.

I agree; I think these would be great as $7 boxes (or maybe some of them as $10 boxes), but they are too expensive overall. I did buy the dry shampoo one, but that’s because $9 is worth the cost for a box I will use 100% of. I still hesitated at that price, though. I would’ve jumped at $7, which is what most of their monthly beauty boxes cost.

Ulta has been kicking butt and taking names lately with their sales. The closest one is at least a half an hour away from me, but one is opening nearby on Black Friday! I am very excited. I just wish my kids’ teachers were into stuff I could buy there :-\

Rebecca

And that said, if the price drops on some of these boxes, I might bite. If the price drops on the dry shampoo one, I’ll definitely buy a second or maybe even a third.

Cynthia

$15 for 5 masks ! Not from me ! Good Luck with that Target!

I’ll be waiting for this one to go on sale. I did by the Best of Boots, one, though, because I knew I would use everything and it does have a small eyeshadow palette.

torres_alexia

I think that box actually was a box from January of this year

Tiffany McArthur

Right??!!! I’m calling it that these will ALL be discounted much sooner rather than later

Reply ButtonReply

MichelleAK

Same here. However, I did pick up Macy’s TonyMoly facemask box, because it was a good deal. Target’s is at least $5 too expensive.

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

With the exception of their sold out Dermstore box, I like their monthly $7 boxes better. Might get the “Good Clean Fun” one if it goes to half off. The mask box in April was only $7 and better. I’m disappointed in Target!

Reply ButtonReply

Tawanda

I thought they were going to be $9.99 like when they previously put out four boxes in the store. I would buy for that price but not for $14.99.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

The good clean fun box is $9.99 I think they’re adding more near that price too.

Reply ButtonReply

Lynn

Couldn’t agree with everyone more! These boxes are way over priced and not worth it. I was so excited for the mask box until I saw the price!
Waiting for the sale….

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa Lange

Yes totally agree

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

It looks like they priced them high deliberately to put them on sale later. “Oh look everybody, 2 for 1! What a steal!”

Reply ButtonReply

Jill M

I was just about to comment the same exact thing! Lol anyways, they are priced wayyyyyy too high! Ipsy shopper has amazing deals everyday, and I had the Purlisse mud mask (full size) and six of the Purlisse sheet masks in my cart for about two weeks and I just kept waiting and waiting. Well I got the set for $9.00 yesterday!!! It was part of the daily steals they have, and I didn’t know you can keep them in your cart after they expire and buy them later. I guess I am trying to say, if I am gonna spend that much, I would spend it on something better than drug store samples. I love their $7.00 box though. Where is that?

Reply ButtonReply

Dea

Please Jill, when do the daily steals come out? I’ve never done ipsy shopper. Thanks to anyone who can explain – is there a daily drop in price on something? Website only, as I don’t play ipsy’s insane social media games. Thanks!

Marliem

Definitely not worth paying for. I hope they don’t do this every month now.

Reply ButtonReply

Betsy Wetsy

Target has lost their mind….. No way is that a fair price.

Reply ButtonReply

happyoften

I think they missed the mark on the price point. $10 is the most I would condsider spending on a box of drug store samples, unless there were quite a few samples. I don’t see these flying off the shelf.

Unless there target is people not used to getting these boxes for less.

Annie S.

I like/love Target but agree with everyone else that these boxes seem pricey for their contents.

Last year, the boxes were between $7-$10 and seemed to contain a much better selection of items. It was pointed out that the Bliss Cleanser was in the October Target box. None of these items is so unique that they are worth $15 for a box.

Maybe Target will adjust the price at a later date.

Reply ButtonReply

Corrina

I do not see any of these being worth $15 which is disappointing because I have always looked forward to Target’s affordable boxes. Greed strikes again 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Macaroni

I’m glad I had a gift card and spend around 5$ for the dry shampoo box. Otherwise, not thank you, I was waiting was the regular month box.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

The good clean fun box is $9.99 not $14.99 and the dry shampoo box is $8.99

Reply ButtonReply

torres_alexia

My question is where is the regular November Box coming.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

I saw some of these in store yesterday. but $15? yeah, no thanks

Reply ButtonReply

torres_alexia

Walmart had boxes like this for $7.89 months ago

Reply ButtonReply

Helen

What am I missing? None of these seem better than the regular $7 boxes. I would rather take $14.99 and spend it on something that I know will work for my skin/hair type.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

@Liz, the Good Clean Fun box is actually $9.99

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Yeah, at this price point, I am still not interested. Maybe if/when they are 50% off I’ll get the Treat Your Skin and Good Clean Fun ones.

I don’t understand why Target decided they could raise prices like that.

Reply ButtonReply

Tara

Looks to me like they are testing the waters with higher price points…I think if they were the usual $7 they would sell like crazy but this is a little high when compared to other subs at the $15 price point.
