Ipsy November 2018 Glam Bag Reveal!

I believe it’s the same day for everyone -11/2. Last month my glam bag plus reveal was on the 2nd and my regular bag was later. Both bags say 11/2 this month, so I guess they changed it to reveal on the same day. I’m glad it’s earlier this month bc there were not as many spoilers this month. I wonder why?

I don’t think they are doing themes anymore. All of their inspirational pictures and stories seem to be a thing of the past. It’s really disappointing actually. It’s like someone is providing Ipsy with free bags so they just pick one without any thought at all. I liked the way they were earlier this year a lot better. I hope they go back to that or I’ll probably cancel.

Where did you find the Ipsy Plus items? I couldn’t find a spoiler for those!!

Hoping for tarte, bumbun bun, it palette and if I get those 3 I really don’t care what the other 2 items are.

Microdermabrasion not misrepresentation

This is what I want.

Mine never stay around long with 2 daughters, 2 daughter in laws, 2 sisters and a mom.. Lol

I let them pile up & my daughter & I put together period packs for her middle school clinic.

I list them for swap because others like to collect them.

I have used them for my nail tools, perfume samples. Also for my purse to hold my chapstick, small lotion, small compact mirror, etc. They would be cute for gifting too at any age. My toddler son likes the colors and they’re a perfect size for his hot wheels 😆

I wait until I have a few piled up, fill them with tampons and wet wipes and then donate them to my local women’s shelter.

– Travel kits (e.g. put in makeup items for a full face look to do makeup in the car or when traveling. Then I can just grab which I think would look best for the day and do makeup on the go. I have one bag for a natural/neutral look, one for a natural but more rust/fall tone look, one bag for a rosy look, one for a more purplish color scheme, etc.)

– Gift bags (these are great to hold small gifts for people)

– Pedicure kits (I hosted a pedicure party and put most of the smaller stuff in IPSY bags so I could just give each woman a bag. The larger stuff was held in dollar store laundry pans that were the perfect size for a foot soak.

– Upcycle! Check out Lottacurlz on youtube for some great ideas for turning IPSY bags into fashion pieces.

– Holding mini-makeup kits to donate to women’s shelters or other charity gift program

– Sorting kid’s toys, such as putting legos of different colors into their own bags or holding crayons

I like to use some of them for office supplies, especially pens and markers! I have a weirdly large pen, highlighter, and whiteboard marker collection and I use the bags to keep them organized.

I also use some for makeup purposes. I give many of them away. My husband likes to use some of them to organize misc small household things.

I put various electronic charging cords (iphone, kindle, apple watch) for traveling

I take my samples and make two full face makeup bags to keep in both vehicles just in case (they come in very handy), each of my kids has one that they use to carry little toys to their grandparents’ house, the others I use to organize my drawer in the bathroom (nail kits/hair samples/face samples). I only keep my favorites. If I have extras I don’t want I give to friends or donate.

I have been subscribed for 2 years so imagine all the bags I have. Some I keep but most I give away. Take them to work or family events and see if anyone wants them.
