The Black Friday subscription box deals are starting to roll in! If you've been with us for Black Fridays of the past, or this is your first Black Friday with us, I thought it would be helpful to put together a list of my tips + hacks for making sure you get the absolute best deals!
- If the deal is a deep discount, and it applies to any length subscription, go with the longest length option if it is in your budget. (Just make sure you definitely want that subscription for months to come! The best way to know if a box is good for you long term is to look at the subscription box reviews from the past few months!) Here's a good example: The Black Friday SinglesSwag deal is 40% off any length subscription. If you buy a 6-month subscription with this deal, that brings the cost down to $22.50 a box! If you applied 40% off to the monthly cost, the first box would be $24, and then your next box would be back to $39.99.)
- For Gift with Subscription deals, go with the shortest length option. Lots of boxes are opting to do free gift deal for Black Friday, and while those aren't giving you a good discount for longer lengths, it's a great way to start a subscription you've been curious about and get some awesome bonus gifts for yourself or to use as gifts for the holiday season! One great example? You can get a 4-item Mystery Bundle valued at $100 with your first CAUSEBOX. (Great for stocking stuffers!)
- Bookmark our Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals page and check it regularly! Today through Cyber Monday, we'll have 24-hour coverage for posting all new deals. At the top of the page, we're highlighting the best deals so you don't miss them.
- Almost all Black Friday deals will be live by 12:01 AM PST on Friday. (3:01 AM ET) This is based on historical trends for subscription boxes. Companies know a lot of customers may be staying up late on Thanksgiving Day and they want the deals available for you ASAP. If you're a night owl, this is a great way to get all the deals and sleep in on Black Friday morning!
- Almost all Cyber Monday deals will be live by 6 AM ET on Monday. Early birds rejoice! For Cyber Monday, companies want to make sure their deal is live before you check your email for the day. If you're working on Monday, you should be able to grab all the deals you want before normal office hours!
A few other important things to call out:
- Birchbox is offering 25% off all orders of $75 or more, and the deal is already live. I definitely recommend taking advantage of this to get Limited Edition boxes at the lowest prices you'll find all year. Plus, this deal is automatically applied, so you can stack it with the free mystery sample pack + the free gift with purchase of your choice!
- Last Call for Better Than Black Friday! These are exclusive deals we got just for MSA readers that are BETTER than their Black Friday deals. Many are about to expire!
- The POPSUGAR Boutique launches this Saturday at 10 AM ET. You do not have to be a subscriber to access it, and you'll be able to buy items from past boxes (regular and limited edition) at 75% off. This deal is as good as it sounds, so make sure to shop it early before hot items sell out!)
- The annual Too Faced Mystery Box should be back this year. According to StyleCaster, it's happening, according to my calls with Too Faced customer care, they don't know anything about it. (I've reached out to their Marketing team, and I'll post an update when I learn more!)
