I was wanting to get the next few boxes anyway so I’m glad I waited for this holiday bonus.

Does anyone know if there is a way to skip months for the Allure Beauty Box?

anyone know if I can get a second subscription by ordering this? I already have an account but think some things would make great gifts. Thank you.

Jen

I have a second subscription I used a different email acct, same credit card, there were no problems for me.

Liz, that link doesn’t work for me. Is it because I’m on my smartphone?

The thing I love about the MSA community is when you aren’t sure how to feel about things because you aren’t too familiar with the products, there are plenty of people here to help cure your FOMO. This has been the first year I have subscribed to beauty boxes, but there are so many people who have been subscribed long enough to spot old products or comment on ones that just aren’t all that great.

This is the worst year for Allure’s Black Friday deal. I cancelled my sub for this? So disappointed in them. Usually they throw in an Allure Thrills box with mostly full sized products. I bet this “free” box is all sample sizes, but even if not, I still don’t want it as I don’t care for makeup. Oh well.. maybe next year.

I’m not interested in a single product in the “mystery gift”. Looks like a lot of old product. Sadly, I didn’t buy a single thing during this BTBF. I was looking for discounts.

This is the exact same bundle that they were gifting for resubscribing in August.
I got it, the pencil is in a dark berry color, the cargo is in a rose gold color, the shadow is alright, the brush is travel size (short), the embriolisse is tiny and the mascara made my eyes watery and smelled wrong, I threw it away. Not worth it.

I’m tempted.

This is not a deal. $40 for 3 months of a subscription that normally costs $10 a month for the first 3 months? You’re paying for your “free” gift. This blows.

Redhed36

Melissa is correct. A sub is $15 a month. I think this is a good deal.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

It normally costs $15 a month. $10 is for first time subscribers and ppl who’ve used other offers

I have been with Allure for a few years now and have never paid 15$. All you do is email or call to cancel and they will offer you 4 months for 10$ each month, then when that four months is up, do the same thing. I consider it a 10$ box also.

Danielle

Lame. Last year they bundled a beauty thrills box for about the same price and that was pretty great. Is it just me or are all these “deals” terrible?

You are right there are no good deals the prices are through the roof and it makes me sad. I went on the hustle website and got some items for free by cashing in my points. The pixie by petra glow tonic…and other items. Hopefully I can find some products on the bath * bodyworks website

Yeah I’m not gonna lie I didn’t buy anything except globeIn 3 month subscription because they are so unique and a free mystery box plus 10 off. If I were to cancel my regular subscription and sign back up my subscription would get all messed up. They would stop coming and i would have to call CS all the time. I will stay where i am because i am in a good spot with them. I also would never buy a Christmas gift for someone else either because that was a nightmare….i love my allure box just the way it is …..normal and with out CS.

Not just you! My wallet appreciates the lack of deals though

Bexxyrae

You call that a deal? Wow.

cindy

Seriously. I didn’t like any of those items the first 5 times I got them. Easy pass.

Why are all these better than Black Friday deals gift with purchase type things? I miss the days of heavily discounted subscription offers.

Ellen

The same here! Was really hoping to see some BTBF deals that may draw me to upgrade my seasonal to annual, but sadly saw none. Well, guess I’ll have more budget for in-store BF shopping.

In general lots of companies seem to have shifted their Black Friday deals over the years. FYI – this isn’t a BTBF deal though, this is their standard Black Friday deal.

Marina

Same, I had money set aside to spend on the perfect one but…meh none are at a discount now 🙁
Sucks cause I didn’t have much back when they were awesome discounts in past years 🙁

Jessica

Kind of a bummer that the mystery gift is full of repeats from previous mystery gifts- I got this exact set a month or two ago.

Reply ButtonReply

Deanne

I got at least three of those items years ago when first signing up for allure and second time last year when renewing a subscription. The beautycounter mascara in particular and the cargo stick must be years old at this point.

JuJu

I feel that for $40 they should do four boxes, not three. Especially since the whole beauty bundle is repeats.

I was kinda planning on subscribing now, but I don’t know, I am on the fence. This doesn’t sound like much of a deal to me.
