Lips & Lashes looks kinda fun, but I wish they would branch out from the norm. I suppose these are favorites and in there for a reason, but none of them really excite me. I am so sick of seeing BTS mascara in *everything.*

Not OP but I’ll chime in. When Ulta gets product returns in they are supposed to destroy the product but there are allegations that customers have bought products that are used. One former employee stated they (at their store) were instructed to repackage returns and sell it but Ulta argues that that is against their company policy. There was a class action law suit (still ongoing I believe – I couldn’t find an update). It could be an example of a few stores being ran poorly or more widespread – either way the internet took off with it.

There’s been accusations of stores reselling returned makeup. I think it’s certainly possible it’s happened. We’ve all heard stories of things in groceries and stuff being put back on the shelf mistakenly. I don’t believe for a minute that it was corporate policy or approved. I’ve known too many people that worked at Ulta that hated their job for various reasons and even they said there were strict policies for damaging and throwing away.
