Wow. At least Ulta’s advent calendar is made up of useful crap, and it costs half what Sephora wants for this waste o’ space and money.

I *think* it’s like a little square of plastic with a ring that you can mix colors/makeup on, instead of using the back of your hand.

I do concur that this is spectacularly lame offering and if I’m going to spend $36 on disposable items, it’s going to be a case of toilet paper.

Like the majority of advent calendars released this year, this seems really overpriced for what you’re getting. Not sure if all these companies jumped on the advent calendar train and think consumers will accept significantly less value just because it’s in fun or giftable packaging, but that does not seem to be the case. We at MSA are informed consumers!

Off topic, I’m not thrilled with this year’s net-a-porter’s advent calendar and am super hoping they release a holiday kit that rivals that of 2015 or 2016 where luxury full and deluxe sizes were featured and had fabulous value (monetarily and practicality). Yes, please!!
